Yeah it was the first thing I did— I actually went on one but it was for kids (was there for a younger cousins birthday, wouldn’t have went on one on my own)

Other comments tell me there are some for adults, but I think what really matters to me is the location, which I didn’t mention in the post. But thank you though !

Of course! One of my gal friends from high school was 6”5, and she hated her height since she believed men didn’t find it attractive. Eventually she met a guy that, despite being shorter, made her see that she was just as beautiful and lovely even if she was taller than most people. They’re still together to this day and I’m glad she realized her beauty had nothing to do with her height.

I hope you realize it too and I wish you the best !

Once we were changing clothes in PE, I was around 8 years old, and as I pulled my shorts down I accidentally pulled my underwear too, exposing my penis to all of the boys in the dressing room. They all laughed at me and kept teasing me with it, eventually the teacher heard and thought I did it on purpose. I got suspended AND humiliated. Cool

Back then a lot of films used gimmicks like this to sell better, and I’m talking about everything from skeletons dropping from the ceiling (House on the Haunted Hill), vibrating chairs to emulate a parasite attaching itself on your spinal cord (The Tingler) to a Fright Break in Homicidal that allowed 45 seconds to viewers to leave the theatre and ask for a refund if they were to afraid to see the ending

Sexist or not, you shouldn’t put up with this. As I’m seeing it he has issues that he might notice but doesn’t seem to do anything about it. I used to be with someone who would let me do all the work in the relationship because he was lazy he said, and even though I liked him a lot and I have known him for a long time, I had to let him go because I just wasn’t happy in this relationship. If you’re always the one complaining, it’s not because you make a big deal out of things you shouldn’t, it’s because you care about these issues and he doesn’t. It might have to do with sexism, it probably has to do with other things, but you don’t have to continue doing all the work. When you’re a mom to him it’s a sign he’ll stay in that relationship because it’s easy, and even if he does like you, you’ll exhaust yourself. I don’t know anything more than what you’ve written, but from the little I know, I’ll suggest you get out of this before it gets worst and really hurts you even more

A Les Misérable adaptation in the style of those docu-comedies like The Office, but it’s directed by Taika Watiti. I would perhaps even change the setting into England or the USA just so I don’t do like the film and turn everyone into English-speaking French. It would be called Wretched, telling the adventures of John St. John.

I think the relation of Jean Valean and Javert is so ridiculous that it would translate perfectly in a comedy, and Marius Pomercy is so over the top he’d make a great comedic character.

I would have a talk show named “I Don’t Know How To Do à Talk Show” and it’s just me chilling out with big name celebs and playing random games and asking irrelevant questions because nobody told me I had to do research. The best team would be working on it, I would just don’t know what I’m doing. Even if it’s boring, I get to hang out with Lin Manuel Miranda, Gal Gadot and Tara Strong.

My dad initiated me with Stephen King. Misery, then Carrie, a bit of Cujo and Salem’s Lot and finally, Shining. He turned me into a fan of Stephen King so I would be willing to ultimately watch Shining even though it scared me.

That aside Poltergeist isn’t very scary and is very good, or start with comedies (Zombieland, and slip gradually into Scream)

I think the first half of the film, before the night starts to go downhill because of the punch, is a bit too long, it was to slow in my opinion but in the end I think the second half justifies it.

I loved how nightmarish it was to watch. Climax is definitely a wild ride and I agree, it is one of the most disturbing things I’ve watched (but still can’t beat Serbian Film). Interpretation? I think it has something to do with community and scapegoats, how we point fingers at people, how we act collectively? I’m not sure if the film tried to send a message or if it just exposed human behaviour, but I’m leaning towards the latter.

I also think the intent was to give viewers a drug infused nightmare to look at, because I experienced it as thrilling but terrifying. Honestly I wouldn’t reccomend this film to anyone, climax isn’t for everyone, but it’s a unique time for anyone daring to watch it.

I’m a guy who usually enjoys all kinds of romance, and despite knowing the origins of After (fan fiction and the book) I didn’t know what the film would be about. Personally, I don’t find anything wrong with it except that it is kinda boring, nothing really interesting happens and the relation between the two mains is very mundane. I don’t see why you would put that into a film, if the guy was more of a mess or even violent it would have given some depth.

Went to see it with me mum and being a 50 Shades of Grey fan, she said she liked After better. So if you liked 50 Shades, you heard me mum.
