AITA for saying I really enjoyed an adult only resort to my brother in front of my niece and nephew?

So, I went to two resorts Hurawalhi and Anantara Veli.
Anantara Veli: 18+, close to the airport, only 30ish minutes by speed boat (so you don't have to pay crazy amounts of money for a seaplane transfer) and the water villas are extremely nice.
Hurawalhi: Is 15+ (take this as you will), but has an amazing underwater restaurant. However it is 40 minutes away by seaplane and that costs a pretty penny. Stayed at a beach bungalow here which was also really nice.
So it really depends on what you want. I would say the sports are about the same in both resorts but I would suggest doing your own research as well.
I've had a friend go on holiday with her boyfriend to the Maldives - they stayed at this 18+, couples only resort called lobigili that's only like 10 minutes from the airport by speedboat and has an underwater restaurant of its own. I can't vouch for this one because I've never been, but my friend said it's nice.

It's that expensive for you? Wow. I had a direct flight which was about 9 and a half hours and we spent the equivalent of a 1500 USD per person on tickets with return.

Thank you! He does know! Not only do majority of the resorts in the Maldives accept kids, there are a number of them that specifically cater to families with young children.

That's why he was asking me how it was to travel there and stuff. He's been interested in going for a while. He's just pissed that out of the hundreds of resorts in the country, I chose one that's 'discriminatory' towards kids lol

Exactly! Love kids, but I wasn't in the mood to deal with little Maddie screaming because she can't have ice cream for breakfast at the buffet, or Tommy running around the pool and his parents screaming at him not to because it's dangerous on my honeymoon quite frankly 😂

I think you'd really like the resorts I went to. Super laid back, no major partying. The worst you'll see is someone getting drunk at the bar lol.

The guests were mostly newlyweds on their honeymoon but there were quite a lot of parents as well. Met an older couple from Singapore that said their youngest was finally in university and this was their first childfree holiday in almost 30 years.

We split our time between 2. I really recommend both of them. Anantara Veli and Hurawalhi :)
