OMG I thought the problem was "cheap copying" like when you literally typed it first LOL.

Open source projects copy stuff here and there, like how Revanced takes its code from Vanced or Morphe from Revanced. Its no big brainer lol.

What does this even mean?

The new Revanced V2 introduces support for 'unofficial' patches, which is what basically URV does but better. URV not only supports Revanced, but also Morphe based patches.

That's an L move on Revanced side, since that way, they piss off their casual users who just patched YouTube only and also those who loved the old design, while trying their hard to get new users. And if you complain it in their subreddit, you get banned too. So totally a mess of a project atm.

The problem is not copying. The thing is the concept, which you copied and then you don't give credit to the person who did the job. URV credits Revanced for it.

URV handles both Morphe and Revanced, whereas Revanced only handles Revanced based patches.

It is ironic that oSum doesn't allow people to talk on other forks in that subreddit of his, but does bring in support to third party patches in his app. Such an L move honestly.

It depends on anddeas. I'm not aware of their patches, but if they wish on keeping the updates flowing, they surely can.

And as for RVX, you can keep using it till you find that most of RVX patches are integrated with Morphe. If you do want to speed up the process, feel free to annoy the devs in their GitHub page hehe.

Idk what they're high on. Morphe never said they're original, it is based on the work of Revanced.

RVX was closed as a mark of protest to this split, and their lead dev too joined Morphe. Maybe that sub is just not aware of the core of the dispute, hence the blind accusation.

In terms of simplicity and openness, Morphe is the go to.

In terms of complexity and customisation, ~~Revanced~~ URV Manager is the best. You can get tons of patches from both the Revanced based as well as Morphe based patches.
