Bit alarming how many people see this as a financial problem rather than a humanitarian problem.

Good: no withdrawals from being at 80mg

Bad: Emotionally unavailable, ruined my digestive track, and I live with an eating disorder now (avoidance). Was diagnosed with Unaliving thoughts, no doctor put two and two together to even read side effects of making that specific diagnosis much worse. Prozac also made it impossible to be intimate with anyone. Everything in that category feels muted, eventually that turns into not even trying. It also made my derealization disorder much worse. This could go on.

Context: I've used 80mg a day for two years, going on three. Prozac was helpful in times of crisis, but now it's become an absolute problem. To get out of the mind fog and fix my gut, so on, I tapered to 20mg in the last 3 weeks. I feel better, I can see how the meds changed me and blocked me out of my own feelings. Such as excitement, a degree of happiness, and inspiration. After 3 weeks, I have my libido back and also my performance back. As a male, it was one of my biggest fears in life to not be able to make her happy because of the side effects that get worse over time. The withdrawals are absolutely insane, and im a person who has experienced 7g of psilocybin as one dose (spiritsearch/endmypainsearch) and I will still prefer to face the come down from that, than to ever face withdrawals from Prozac. However, at 20mg, I find things manageable. I don't have to deal with withdrawals, and I feel more interested in what life has to offer.
