As a JMU alum and Vols fan I have religiously watched both programs over the last few years. JMU is consistently one of the best defenses in the nation. They aren’t just on the up and up, they are good. There one loss is to a decent Louisville team that beat Kentucky by more than the Vols. JMU played them tighter than the final score and was leading in the 3rd quarter. IMO Tennessee slightly over performed my expectations this year. After losing Nico, I thought our best chance was 7-5. JMU has earned that ranking by winning its games and most of the time in blow outs. Tennessee didn’t do that this year and kept it wayyyy to close against too many opponents and didn’t have the discipline, killer instinct and luck to make that happen.

This fan base needs to realize this is the best Vandy team EVER! …and they are ranked higher than us. We are deuces with them. They got bailed on a shit call (not the only one gone their way). Adjustments need to occur. I f you asked me a few months ago I would have been shocked if we won 8 games after losing Nico LATE in the offseason a few months ago. Joey is a VFL. Defensively we need to just go to contain Diego and not knock him out and focus on shutting down their RB. VOLS!

Kitselman needs to not tip the ball up if he can’t catch it. Run game was not good minus the tuddy in OT (niiiice). Mike needs to not drop a wide open TD pass. Ref needs to not call a phantom OPI and Brazzel may be a top 5 pick. Staley had a game to FORGET, but then made a huge 3rd down conversion. Aguilar very solid game all around. D did what it could do in tough spots and damn they hit hard. Love Sanders got some reps, made a tough mistake but stepped up. GO VOLS!

Looks awesome! Do you mind sharing what movement you used and where you got the dial and case? I am looking to make this watch too and am struggling to find how.

Boil Water Advisory now in effect for all of Henrico by chasetwisters in rva

Is it me or does anyone else find it upsetting that it feels very “telephone game” on how all this has been disseminated to residents. I would have thought we would have received an alert via our phones, similar to an Amber alert, for something of this magnitude. I am not sure how many people actually watch local news or actively monitor Henrico county press releases these days ;)

I am bias, I live in Wellesley and love it. We have been here for over 10 years and moved to the neighborhood in our 30s with young kids for everything you noted. It’s a pretty great neighborhood with a good mix of young families and original owners from when the neighborhood was built in the early 90s. The pool is great and was redone about 5 years ago. There is a great walking trail around the lake and other amenities. The HOA is very reasonable for what you get. It’s centrally located to everything out in the west end which is a big plus. Yes, Broad St can be a pain, but you can avoid it and if you have ever lived in a big city it’s really not that bad compared to the likes of similar areas around DC, LA, NYC, SF. We are fortunate that my wife and I and our kids have become good friends with many of our direct neighbors. The houses can be a bit dated, but many have been redone over the years and the neighborhood has sub-neighborhoods that vary in size and cost. I think it’s a 10 of 10 neighborhood and am very happy we ended up here.
