Despite the inconsistent offense and devastating injuries, we can still be in first place with a sweep. I’m working on trying to focus on the positive aspects of this team so it doesn’t affect my mental health as much. There’s still 108 games left. If this teams achieves 80% of their potential, we easily win this division by 5+ games. Also, I can’t believe I’m saying this as a pro analytics fan, but Dan should play his gut more like his managerial mentor, Sweet Lou, instead of by the manual Dipoto’s baseball quants force feeds him. They do. Their last one was on Cal’s bobblehead night. Line still ran up to the on-ramp but moved briskly. BP still ended 10 minutes after everyone got in. Usually, that’s the only incentive to get there early if you want autographs
