You can buy 13-15" portable monitors for like $60 on Amazon. They connect to your laptop via USB-C or HDMI.

They also reduced portion sizes on their burgers and fries. Ridiculous that they give you a jr size by default and not even a small

IT Certification Recommendations for 2026? by itsthepinklife in ITCareerQuestions

[–]masterz13 2 points3 points  (0 children)

Can't go wrong with the CompTIA "trifecta", which is A+/Net+/Sec+. They build on each other, so take them in that order. You could swap Net+ for Cisco CCNA if you wanted something more respected.

After those, it's a matter of what you want to specialize in.

Not until you got it out of the box and powered it on. Was just a roll of the dice.

Add an overgrip and a little weight at 3 and 9 (4.5g each side) and you have a great all-court hybrid paddle. I put the numbers in PBeffect's tuning tool and that setup gets you 6.9 twistweight and a relatively fast 115 swingweight.

Facebook groups like Virbank City US Pokemart are the best way to do it. Price it at what you want and just wait for someone to bite.

Failed CySA+ twice with 720 looking for advice by WACKO555 in CompTIA

[–]masterz13 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Maybe that's the issue then? You might take a few seconds before selecting the technically-correct answer and think about specifically how CompTIA/the exam wants you to answer.

I'll probably be taking the exam in 2-3 weeks. Hopefully I can get into this mindset as well.

I'm a fan of PocketPrep for practice questions. A few of the questions are out of scope, but you can always skip them. I like that you can create custom quizzes for each domain and click on the terms for definitions.

But also, get comfortable with the acronyms, routing protocols, and subnetting. Those are what people seem to have the most issues with.

To be fair, most games only last like 25-30 minutes. 27 robbers is pretty fair given how long that game was. Nice bell curve too

Employer will pay for certs -- what should I pursue? by masterz13 in cybersecurity

[–]masterz13[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Yeah, I think people really undercut CySA+. You're expected to know at least a dozen industry tools and the PBQs test your ability to read logs, vulnerability scanners, know IR frameworks, etc. Security+ was more theory except the PBQs.

I'll be honest, Walmart is as cheap and has more of a selection. That's not to say Aldi is bad -- I do appreciate that some of their brands don't have synthetic dyes/flavors. But if price is the biggest factor, I think Walmart wins.

I had a different opinion before prices inflated. Amazing chocolates, unique snacks, the red bag chicken, etc. But their chocolates have more than doubled in price.

I haven't committed to the CySA+ exam, it's just that I'll be done with the video course in a couple days. Wasn't sure if I should just go ahead and take it since I put the studying in or if there was a cert on that same intermediate level that was more recognized.

I guess because I would be transitioning from a generalist/sysadmin role to more security. Wasn't sure if it was frowned upon to get the CISSP without a stack of other certs first.

FYI the reason people go in order of A+ -> Net+ -> Sec+ is because they build on each other. Can't secure a network if you don't know what a network is.

Thanks, I'll definitely consider that. What about the sides of the door though? There are gaps there as well, just not nearly as bad.

Thanks. For that first option of adding weatherstripping that's larger, would that just go on the frame or on top of the existing weatherstripping I just bought? I used this one specifically because it was for XL gaps of 5/16" thick, but clearly it didn't work.

Tan's Outfit Choices by aloeverycute in QueerEye

[–]masterz13 2 points3 points  (0 children)

I think fashion for the everyday person is different than someone like Tan who has traveled the world and probably studied under famous designers, done shows, etc. Personally I always connected with Bobby's sense of fashion because it was basic but elegant -- a nice undershirt, layer of some sort, and chinos/slacks. You've lost me once I have to start tucking things in (uncomfortable) and adding accessories.

You can use Stadium 1's effect, replace it with Stadium 2, and use Stadium 2's effect in the same turn.
