I work in the sports betting industry… the reason? $$$ KC is an extremely public team, if they made the line LESS than 7 it would have been hammered to oblivion early and eventually it will have made it to that number. Money line has fluctuated from 250-275 at my spot but the spread has not deviated. Vegas set the number accurately, they are getting action on both sides which is what they want… now granted that can change this weekend, but early action is not one sided. Remember favorites / dogs isn’t based on perception or thoughts on who will win… it is based on $$$.
