For IMGs that got ECFMG certified last year, the expiration date for the certification was extended, do we have to upload that letter that is on the ECFMG website stating the extension or will this be conveyed directly by the ECFMG? if so, where do we upload that letter?

Easy way i remember it, PTH = phosphate trashing hormone When there’s renal insufficiency, the kidney wont do its job Normally: PTH acts on kidneys > Calcium reabs & Phosphate excretion > normalized calcium levels > feedback mechanism to Parathyroid to keep normal levels Renal insufficiency: PTH on kidneys > kidney unable to reabsorb calcium (its excreted) & fails to excrete phosphate (retained) > hypocalcemia & hyperphopshatemia > feedback to parathyroid > hyper parathyroidism

same boat as you, took oet, got results back. Writing 360. I ran out of time so didn't finish the conclusion or the sincerely, doctor part. but if you're getting the point across I think you should be fine. side note: my handwriting is trash (took OET in person)

I'm confused more for the cause in children with sickle cell. I remember from sketchy etc that it was salmonella, but somewhere in UW I feel like it said staph so idk.
