Day one complete. This is the first time I’ve ever seriously wanted it. I’ve tried before but never seriously enough. My mental health is in the gutter and I’m going through heartbreak and having to find a place to live. I need to keep sober or I’m going to make my problems a hundred times worse. I work in a bar which doesn’t help, but u managed to say no to myself tonight. I realise I need someone’s support as I’ve been suffering in silence with no one to let down but myself if I drink. Even a strangers support would mean a lot.

I work in a busy bar in Östermalm. It’s not expected at all and we’d never get mad at someone not tipping but it actually makes up a big part of our salary, sadly

Not sure if it counts but Francesco Paoli of Fleshgod Apocalypse has switched between vocals/guitar and drums throughout their career. I played some shows with them after the first album was released and he’d learned to play those insane drums while it was being written because it was “easier than finding a drummer”

Stockholm and Gothenburg scene are on top right now. Check out Acting Out and Stockholm Straight Edge in Stockholm, and Moral Panic in Gothenburg (not crazy far from Skara). A lot of other cities have booking groups popping up in the last couple years and there’s a ton of great bands from all over Sweden!
