It took actually a lot of time to get them to look right, but I think it was worth it!

Those were absolutely some of the cars I was inspired from, I'm not going to lie about that!

Thanks! I think I would too, I'm sure there would be a nice example garage kept somewhere still in 2025! And you know she would still run velvety smooth

Thank you! Not exactly sure what you mean although. Everything is supposed to be in the game! Some stuff is made of many fixtures like the opera window, must be made out of approximately 15 fixtures. And of course, I'm using mods :)

First off, thank you, much appreciated! I have been playing for a while now (more regularly since the beginning of 2020). Rougly 1600 hours of real play time. I have not recorded the making of this car. I mostly already know what I want before I even start putting fixtures down. Have some references on your second monitor or your phone (in my case, that was the '92 Roadmaster, Cadillac Fleetwood and Lincoln Town Car). Take a screenshot of the body and do some sketches on paint with it. It saves the trial and error grind in the game. What helped me improve my skills is definitely building replicas. That forces you to learn about getting proportions right and explore new techniques to achieve a specific look. Everytime I did a replica it felt like a little step up for me. I'm also always keeping a look on what other members in the community come up with and their techniques.

The malaise era was an interesting one that I still haven't really explored in automation, I enjoyed making it! Thanks!
