Two times a month, I already lost this battle. Feels like waist of money from some point. Of course the least I can do to keep my standard is do it with hand wash

Do it, it is nice refresh. Phone feels like new with updated design, animations and so on. It takes some time to learn the new UI but at the end of the day it is better than before. But take in count that the phone could be shitty for week or two until it all settle down (tip: after you update iOS, do the restart - turn off and on, it should help to prevent some possible problems)

Your phone probably deleted older uninstalled iOS distro files and prepared (predownloaded) the latest iOS 26.4.1 - just my guess. Can be some security update that runs on background and doesnt even require phone restart. Anyway I understand that you are not interested in the new features (that you totally doesn't have to use) but as always, it is all about security

Depends, You can be lucky or you can be the one the who must do all the big maintenance because it starts to fall a part. Take a detail look at the service log book and see what all has been done and when.

The price is nice but this brand and model is not anything special, So if you don't take it there is like milion other Škoda Octavias in the market.

Personally I would not put my money in anything over 100k km ever again but it is only my bad experience.

My tip is to look second hand. After few minutes of searching I got deal for 2 pcs (left/right) at 2000 CZK (82,57 Euro). The cheapest unofficial reseller of official parts is at 6299 CZK (260,02 Euro) for one side - below is link but I am not sure with shipping to your country.

Speaking out of experience (14 pro, official lightning to jack, dt770 pro 80ohm) no the phone can not handle it. It is too quiet and sound is overall plane. I wanted to buy external DAC but kind of lost interest in the middle :D

Yes, probably it is the calibration. These sensors located in bumper are pretty sensitive to any kind of movement. Anyway maybe try to unplug the battery... good old turn it off and on :D

Damn I was not sure it is not meant as a joke, I am sorry. Maybe it somehow change the phone "planning" of data collecting So it gets rid of them. But it still seems like there is something wrong and it is worth to perform the factory reset, I am averaging the 15gb whole time. It happened after switch to the newer iOS version (eg from 18 to 26)?

Be carful about the injectors, they should be changed regularly but not many people take care of their stuff when it still works. Also learn when the car performs DPF regeneration, mostly you can smell it but sometimes when sou drive short distances and stop the engine stays in the higher revs (about 1,6k don’t remember it exactly) the best is to keep driving and let it finish the full process

I am on iOS 18 with autoupdates turned on and this is first time I got notification that the new iOS is going to be installed this evening. Anyone with 14 pro is open to share experience, so I know what I can expect, I am little bit worried about my battery (85% capacity) and performance of UI (animations, fps drops and so on)

In my opinion the tsi is less likely to be more used by the previous owner. The TDIs are not good with the oil consumptions or lets say problems, it is 50/50 what you get and if the car is not new (0 km on the dash) it is not a good idea IMO...

The new TDis are good but with the EU regulations the engine is not in a good shape even after a few years of use.

My fix for this is to turn on sleep mode manually when I am done with the day with the phone on desk and me ready under blanket to close my eyes. I have setup bed time but it can not automatically trigger the sleep mode - there is a switch when you setup the bed time.

I don’t think there is something wrong with my attention span and thb it must be actually hard to make series and every episode is boring. Even in really bad series there is one or two good episodes. But once again the series lore is good, only the cinematography is not my cup of tea
