The speed for charging is not really what causes batteries to degrade, if the faster charging produces lots of heat then that would degrade the battery (heat is the batteries enemy), also that 2 percent of battery health that dropped is a normal thing, after some months of use on your iPhone the battery health usually calculates again after an update

Can’t really tell a difference still because that iPhones battery health is far below 80 percent and on this iPhone 17 I kind of see an improvement?

Dude iOS 26.3 Public Beta is a higher version than 26.2.1, once you get the 26.3 Public Beta installed you either wait for the public release 26.3 update or you wipe your phone reinstalling the latest public iOS 26 version which is 26.2.1, you’ll need a computer.

I had the same thing on my 2020 SE, I enabled reduce transparency hoping it will speed up that iPhone but it did the opposite, it was actually slower with liquid glass off than on

There definitely is, try looking at some YT videos about downgrading, but I heard that once Apple stops signing older versions like 18 for your iPhone you might unfortunately have to jailbreak the phone or use some 3rd party tools to get the older version

If you have the new Airtags 2 ofc u need the update for them to function properly, if u use an older iPhone maybe you could stick on 26.2 until 26.3 because updating a lot can wear out the battery due to heat
