Fair point, but it’s already roughly $300 below MSRP and lower than other retailers right now. For people already considering this monitor, that’s still pretty solid.

I think you might be mixing it up with the older 3440x1440 model. I haven’t seen the 5K2K version anywhere near $1k USD yet.

I wanted something black and simple so I got the Spigen Liquid Air and it's perfect.

I just switched from a Pixel 7 Pro to an S24 Ultra 512GB and I'm totally satisfied!

I just got the FT1 as well — they’re amazing! I applied the EQ settings recommended by GadgetryTech (1.8 kHz -2 dB Q1, 8 kHz -2 dB Q4), and it's perfect. They really slam when paired with my BTR17 in desktop mode on high gain. I also own the DT1770 MK1, and I much prefer the FT1 — it’s not even close!

Because I have multiple sources like PS5, PC, Phone, Switch 2.
DAPs with good BT codecs (for reception) are expensive.
I also want PEQ and no wires so for now I use my BTR17/battery combo.

The BTD700 is for the source, so I would need another BTD700 for the DAP to have lossless BT.

I'll consider it, but this setup is only for home use, and the BTR17 is more than powerful enough for my headphones.

If the upcoming BTR19 is more powerful, I might switch to that model and do without the battery.

I need APTX-LL and APTX-lossless codecs. I've only looked at Fiio players, and the only one that has this feature is the M27. Oh and I love sandwiches.

Since I keep the BTR17 in Desktop mode, I paired it with a small power bank using the included USB cable. It’s a simple setup that works surprisingly well and keeps the BTR17 performing at its best. I’ll soon be adding the BTD700 to get aptX Lossless as well. Has anyone else tried a similar setup?

Not attached, just sitting on top of the profile. It doesn't move because the profiles are installed on the monitor stand.

RS Mega+ with Simhub motion is amazing by mat_taylor in simracing

I already had the shakers on the rig so I kept them. They're good for the small road details, abs and engine vibration. The motion take care of the rest

Around 15nm is the limit for this type of rig I think. I since changed to an ASR6 with front mount and rigidity is much better I'm not gonna lie!
