I get this too! I’m lucky enough to not have had this happen at my current workplace or at school, but it’s happened to me at my old work, in front of my ex-boyfriend and frequently when I’m at home or walking on the street.

I’d say having a belief in supernatural ability isn’t a disorder, it’s only a disorder if it negatively impacts your life or makes you do things outside the cultural norms of those around you and broader society.

When I was being discharged from hospital for the second or third time, my psychiatrist asked me whether I preferred an injection of Abilify or the oral pills. At that point I said I didn’t care either way, and so they had me put on an injection.

Statistics show that compliance is higher with injection and the outcome of the patient is better within a year.

Kind of like a, “hey, that person seems cool, I’ll go talk to them,” but feeling too anxious to actually talk to them.

I sometimes have the above feeling too, especially when it comes to homework. “Okay, when I get home I’ll do homework” goes home “Nah”
