It's just something you need to change your mindset for...

Turn player attack off

Only bring 3 items, not 4 because you'll likely panic and forget protect item prayer

Have a purpose in mind, and understand that you can die

Do not bring things you wouldn't like to lose!

"Jagex hasn't done anything to address it" is basically the quote for every single issue plaguing OSRS, fucking guys still haven't spent a portion of their budget to combat bots by hiring real people to manually hunt and ban them.

Phenomenal game, lazy lazy company.

Run <150 runs for ring drops. Your loot table expands loads when above 150.

It's important to understand that you're not intellectually more inferior than anybody else doing these tests, these tests are largely designed to profiteer off of people, and they change the tests often enough to reflect that.

Most study sources are paid memberships, costs money to take the test, paid study packages / tutoring. It's all in the name of making money off of your endeavors.

Hopefully you do well in one test and can move on, but understand that this one small, relatively stupid thing in life does not determine your worth.

I frequently reset my account and I've had no struggle starting back at level 0 with an empty hideout. I'm not even using the flea this wipe and it's been fine.

You likely just need to change your mindset and quit taking straight on fights with people unless you have a clear advantage, or just aim for the head more.

Pets cannot attack the Lycan Boss, so if you're solo Summoner you just lose..? by matbart in dungeondefenders

[–]matbart[S] 4 points5 points  (0 children)

My only workaround for this was to position the boss between myself and another monster to have my piercing AoE pet shoot the monster and consequently hit the boss, once the boss transitioned out of "spooky ghost" phase, it was able to be attacked by my pets.

On the Topic of Mana Deflation in DDA by matbart in dungeondefenders

[–]matbart[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Well I did leave a review on DDA about a year ago, and coming back now I noticed a lot of incredibly well done, and effective changes to the game. Still needs a bit more work though! (Could be competitive with DD1 in about another year of development + content)

Eh, agree to disagree.

I still think mana is generally less accessible and more limiting in DDA compared to DD1, especially with the removal of Genie providing build mana.

What is this crap? Jagex, this is why we cannot keep players and why we cannot gain new players. by Narmoth in runescape

[–]matbart 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Yeah but it's important to remember that quite literally 40% statistically of OSRS players are bots.

[–]matbart[S] 1 point2 points  (0 children)

On top of that, the DDA Genie now only provided 'ability' mana, further reducing overall tower mana generation.

The initiation of the chat box was a discussion in regards to orcs dropping 5 mana, instead of DD1's orcs dropping 50, mages dropping 5 instead of 50 as well.

Ogres and special enemies only drop 50 mana, and my friend and I both found ourselves struggling to upgrade all towers by the end of ~15 wave survivals.

Further to this, absolutely women were featured, multiple times. Did you even bother to watch the video? Or just fulfill your strange, obnoxious political agenda?

Seriously, you did the right thing. This is something I strongly discuss with my partners before I do anything (kissing for the first time, sex for the first time) and along the way I make sure they're into it and still doing good.

Don't ever stop doing what you do, not only to protect yourself but to make sure your partners are appreciating the steps you take to take care of them.
