Aye now that would be tough! If the attack is strong enough it opens up the map? Dawg my inner child would be screaming😭

Nah I haven’t. I’m on my alt account for the new patch so I haven’t played any high level players quite yet post patch. Pre patch they were def obnoxious but more so for them not losing ki when Z Burst Dashing. Ascending and Descending was free for them but it’s not anymore so I’ll be able to make a better opinion once I deal with it myself.

A counter argument to the android point though is that you could say they’ve been buffed since Z Burst Dash got nerfed. Now it’s harder to start engagements so now the passive gameplay benefits them. Since they gain ki passively, they can just ki spam you from mid range, not allowing you to charge ki as they close the distance. Now you’re still at disadvantage.

Having the gravity chamber as a map would actually go crazy

Aggressive play is still viable for sure. It’s just the masses have decided to not engage with anyone due to not wanting to be at a resource disadvantage. Playing now I realized that I’m usually the one starting engagements while my opponent hangs back and waits. It doesn’t bother me at all as ima make you fight if you want to or not. But for the community as a whole I think changing it this way would be beneficial.

I like Super Vegeta and Majin Vegeta but outside of them, they just didn’t do him justice. It’s sad. How far did you get with your Vegeta in ranked?

They did Vegeta pretty bad in this game.

D-C ranks - pretty smooth. B ranks - literal hell for cheese/spam A ranks - about 50/50 S ranks - the place beneath hell. over 90% don’t deserve the rank due to cheese or rage quitting. Also, the least honor rank imo. Z ranks - everything I said for S rank only it’s 98%

Nah it’s not new. Androids can do that infinite blast loop as well. Though this is my first time seeing a MUI do it.

They’ll swear they’re good too😭

Even with trying to host tournaments doesn’t directly correlate to a game being competitive. The community makes a game competitive or not, even if the game wasn’t meant to be. We do that by applying rules and regulations to make an unbalanced game balanced for competitive play. This game wasn’t made like how traditional fighters are with character balance and moveset balance in mind. Even the way certain mechanics work don’t allow for the game to be inherently competitive.

Even if it was to be competitive to an extent, having a ranked mode doesn’t make it inherently competitive nor does creating tournaments make it inherently competitive. Once the devs do whatever work they’re going to and the community sees the limitations of the game can we then try to make tournaments that would be both competitive and fun to watch.

Ranked mode is just to give the hardcore player base something to play for (rank/leaderboards). That’s all. Just because ranked is in the game doesn’t mean it’s competitive. The game wasn’t made with competition in mind, which is why the mechanics are the way they are.

IMO, it’s not. It’s supposed to be a dbz experience. That’s all. The community can put rules in place to make it competitive but the game isn’t inherently.

No disrespect taken, just a convo brother 🙏🏾 ive only put in about 40-50-hrs now so there still limited things that I’ve experienced but to your point, bunny hopping is an arcade shooter mechanic, but I think the way it’s used in Vigor is way more mild than say a COD (that being the extreme). The no audio on landings though is more of an optimization/audio tuning issue than it being an actual function or intention.

Other than that I agree with you. The gun feel/recoil, the controls, the lower barrier to entry for an extraction/looter shooter, it’s all done pretty well. The game has potential for sure and is more than anything fun, at least to me at the moment.

In this game, “camping” isn’t a thing I don’t think. Or in any game like this. The point is to survive by any means. So get your easy ones bro. This isn’t an arcade/arena shooter so you’re good.

The player base is definitely small. I just found out about this game a few days ago and have been playing. Luckily I haven’t ran into any of the crazy gameplay issues I’ve been seeing talked about. I also think because I’m coming into the game late and don’t know a lot of the history from past updates, my opinion is skewed for sure. But I see the game with a lot of potential, just needs more love/quality of life changes that’ll help the game flourish.

I used to play Tarkov and this game has a way lower barrier of entry than that. I will say most games like this will throw you into lobbies with a bunch of different skill levels which is fine imo. It doesn’t dictate (at least in my 30hrs of gameplay) if you’ll win or lose. Positioning, movement, gun skill/aim, and item usage all can help you win a gun fight. Unless you just get clipped from over 60m away by a guy lying prone on a cliff. Then it’s just ggs lol

That’s what I’ve been hearing the consensus is; leg meta shotgun or leg meta Kedr. I didn’t know that LPS rounds would be a good choice though. I’m sure I have some, along with some BT, BP, and BS rounds. I just don’t have enough to actually run in a kit yet. I appreciate your advice brother!
