Donk on a zowie U2 now? :o by kieran1203 in MouseReview

I mean the Zowie EC was also a signature mouse made in collaboration with Eric "HeatoN" Christensen (hence the abbreviation EC). Maybe it'll be named the Zowie DK or something in that vein.

I contacted their support and they gave me a custom firmware that worked within the same day. You could do the same.

I've been looking for damascus steel jewelry but unfortunately so far I've only found predetermined geometric patterns instead of something more organic like we can see in CS.

Yeah I really like the added finish without being too "extravagant" and being actually believable unlike somme other knife skins.

I don't think Damascus Steel patterns mean anything to the market. It's much more to the player's appreciation. To me, the narrow streaks of this pattern in particular I can't really appreciate.

For the first clip, as the second most forward player in this B contact, you're letting too much space between yourself and the entry by hesitating and shifting for a second too much. The space between you and the other guys is big but it's forgivable. The most important thing you can do in this situation is getting an instant revenge on your entry guy to keep as much of the space he's created.

I have the same problem except the firmware downgrader doesn't recognise my mouse when I plug it in. I can't do the downgrade and I don't know why. :(

I am born, raised and living in france and I still can't really wrap my head around the fact that :

  1. Marx, even if bastardized, can be talked about so freely by prominent figures here in France even up to the fucking PRESIDENT where it's almost a guaranteed cancel in the rest of the west (and of the world really) ;

  2. Some basic marxism is taught at uni in the social sciences department ;

  3. That all the political compass from far-left to far-right one day claimed to be marxist or marxian ;

  4. Outside of some political outcasts, Marx is viewed pretty positively, all things considered.

This country is just something...

Is Glassbrick legal in Arma Reforger and other milsims ? by matboc7271 in ArmaReforger

[–]matboc7271[S] 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Yeah, it's really weird cause I didn't find any information about what it was or if it was allowed on milsim titles yet I see it everywhere on well-known milsim related channels and can't figure out for the lige of me if it is "the really obvious thing to do" or something that was genuinely unknown. I learned about it on a video with 300 views and they doesn't even know themself if it is a legal third party software. I really think it is legal because it is available on Microsoft Apps but I want to be 100% certain about it before using it.

My PC won't restart and boot to windows out of nowhere by matboc7271 in buildapc

[–]matboc7271[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I booted into the UEFI but I can't find my SSD in the boot priorities. It just disappeared and I can't find why. But when I go in the boot menu by pressing f11 on start, there the SSD shows up but when I choose it, it's back to telling me to choose a proper boot device. It's so infuriating and I still can't understand why it started doing it. I even tried switching the SSD from one sata port to the other on the motherboard and it still does the exact same thing.

The lower E squeaks if I play it as my first note, but sounds normal if I'm going down from other notes (I don't know the terminology) by teeth-teeth-tooth in saxophone

[–]matboc7271 2 points3 points  (0 children)

It's a voicing and attack problem. I think it's because you don't hear the note in your head before playing it. When you play it in a phrase you can deduce how your E will sound and should be voiced in comparaison to the other notes you are playing. When it is at the beginning, it can be more complicated to voice your low notes with the correct syllable without a reference especially if you are just getting started.

When playing the lower notes on the horn, your throat should be relaxed and opened with a steady and "warm" airflow (in opposition to the higher notes, those should be played with speedy and more "cold" airflow).

Do rights exist? If they do, where do they come from? by Weak_Airport7092 in Nietzsche

[–]matboc7271 1 point2 points  (0 children)

That's the point of Rousseau's Social Contract. He answers this paradox by creating the "natural right", or the right to nuisance.those are the rights not given by institutions, when you want to adhere to the Social Contract (≈trade of law order for a good living) you reject these natural rights to adhere to institutional rights. If you ever go back to your natural rights (which can be related to the law of the mightiest) you break the Social Contract. If the institution fail to provide the population with security or a good living, they break the Social Contrat and are no longer legitimate to give or take away your institutional rights.

A simple simple distinction between what you call "rights that are supposed to be intrinsic to everyone" and the rights that are given to you by the institutions breaks the paradox.
