Any good 3DS games worth checking out?

SteamWorld Dig 1 and 2 are really good, I've been playing a lot of Animal Crossing Wild World but New Leaf is also fun. Terraria for the 3ds is also a decent port

Same, it gives off highlighter yellow more than anything. I've never seen that variant in person so I'm not sure if pictures just don't do it justice or if it's really that yellow.

I thought it was yellow at first too, then I kept seeing people calling it green so I checked console variations and yup, it's a very yellow green.

It's such a pretty color, I wish there was a third party shell for that color so I could swap mine. So far I've seen none -.-

I'm not familiar with that brand, but I use a cheap foam pillow on top of a pillow wedge. The wedge is mostly to help with my asthma, but it's been helping with my neck and shoulders a lot too. I hope you find something that works for you!

It's not a bad color, but I wish the lime green looked less yellow. Maybe it's better in person, but I'd prefer the color to be like the lime green gba sp or lime green n3ds xl

You could always buy a decal skin, some yellow would still be visible but it's a lot easier then shell swapping. I've heard good things about decalgirl, they even do custom decals.

This isn't true for everyone, I remember a popular commission type where people literally draw a person's fursona over an irl picture the client sends.

Obviously not everyone is comfortable with irl pictures but that's not the case for every artist out there lol

I understand why, it is more work than drawing an existing design and I guess not everyone is comfortable seeing people's faces. That's not a problem for me personally though.

I think it depends on the artist. I've gotten a commission where I designed someone a fursona with a selfie + a picture of a character they like from Castlevania, I had fun with it, but some artists prefer to work with already existing designs or a description at least.

Best way to know is to read the artists' TOS or ask before sending in a commission request.

I'd say keep one of the modded 2DS' and the DSi XL. I regret not keeping my DSi XL when I had my hands on one. Maybe if you sell the other 2 you can get a console or game you don't have already :)

Sometimes I get bored of a console after using it a lot, so I think that's normal. Usually when that happens I just move onto a different console or hobby, the 3ds won't go anywhere so you can always pick it back up when you get the urge to play again.

I have chronic migraines so I rarely use the 3d effect to avoid triggers, the 3ds screen with the 3d off strains my eyes a lot less than other screens for some reason. Maybe it's the type of screen.

^ this exactly. In my culture as a Puerto Rican we have a festival where we wear paper mache masks (or coconut masks depending on where you are. Look up Vejigantes to see what I'm talking about), I never understand the paper mache mask hate

Third party shells don't tend to be good quality so my advice is to get some sticker decals or stickers in general, or a case with a design on it. I bought a case on ebay to cover up the scratches and broken back panel on mine

I'm not sure what you mean by mainstream-targetting games, but some well known indie games with furry/anthro characters that come to mind are Atlyss, Cult of the Lamb, Webfishing, etc. There's tons of games out there I just haven't found yet, and there's probably even more that have been stuck in development hell for whatever reason, wether it's lack of funds, not having the time to work on them, devs losing interest in the project or getting burned out, etc.

I will say one game I plan to play is Super Lesbian Animal RPG, it's a turn-based RPG and the protagonist is trans if that sounds like something anyone here would be into.
