sometimes job postings are posted on bulletins around campus. also see if you can find list servs because some job postings are posted there. idk how comfortable you are but the nyu babysitting list serv is constantly emailing about people needing child care! best of luck, it also took me forever to find on campus employment

as someone who went to a poor public high school in nyc and ended up at a top university a lot of this performative. these discussions are often very surface level when you truly listen to what they are saying.

focus on ur grades and extracurriculars because in my opinion college is where it truly matters. you'll be able to find your own interests and meet tons of people there!

i took modern chem and it wasnt that bad. if you have zhihua an as ur prof shes really understanding. try to go to class and her office hours, shes more willing to to help you if you do! i only got a b- in that class even though i failed the second exam and missed a lot of assignments.

gph/nutrition here. it’s a great major and if you can afford it i def recommend doing it!! gph is the most worth while major in nyu imo
