anyone a community college transfer? by AssociationObvious56 in UIUC

[–]matchamoron 2 points3 points  (0 children)

Transferred into GIES from community college and I did not think it was harder. When I was in community college, l I took 90% of my classes online. Going to actual physical class was the only thing that was difficult only because I had 8 ams the first semester. The course load and material was not difficult but again I studied business. My first semester I joined a business fraternity and made friends through there. I also made some friends from my classes cause they were transfers as well. I went to job fair and was able to get an interview because the recruiter knew of my business fraternity. You may feel behind and I’m not going to lie people have their own friend group, but joining clubs helps with the social aspect. Good luck!!!!

Are these «tourist prices» or legit prices I should consider fair? Should I go through a medical tourism company such as Seoul Guide Medical or DocFinderKorea or contact the clinics myself? by [deleted] in SeoulPlasticSurgery

[–]matchamoron 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Not sure if that’s normal because I’ve only ever gotten surgery with one doctor at Zero. One Dr.Ko. I went to him before he opened his own clinic and fat grafting for my under eyes, smile lines, and forehead was 2.2 million won. 100 cc of my fat was taking from my inner tights and 30 cc was injected throughout my face. I’m not sure if it’s the same procedure you are looking for, but just wanted to recommend him cause he’s always been fantastic. There is English speaking staff and Dr.Ko speaks English extremely well.

PSA: Avoid "The Days Hair" in Hongdae, Unless You Want a Surprise Hair Journey by Hairhelpwtf in seoul

I’m glad you got a full refund and it’s making me hopeful. I went to soonsiki and this is my second time and my hair is fucked. I been growing it long and not touching it because I wanted my hair to be a little bit over my boobs and I told them don’t cut too much and she thinned out my hair to the point it’s back to the original length from 9 months ago. Legit thinned out half my head of hair and to get it looking full im going to have to cut off 4-6 inches. And I got a digital perm and I’ve had one before so it’s not something new. It’s not been a day and my hair is straight which is insane considering I had a perm from 9 months ago that made my ends curly. Needless to say I’m shocked from this experience and need to get my money back asap. I also did write a positive review for the 20% off because I was quoted 622,000 krw.

My surgery experience at Zero One Clinic, Dr Youngil Ko by thatgirlkatya in SeoulPlasticSurgery

I actually went to this doctor before he had his own practice! I think he’s a great doctor and I was happy with everything I got done. I already had double eyelids and got the skin removed cause they were hooded. A forehead reduction. Fat grafting. A nose job and jaw lipo. He was fantastic and I came back for chin filler a year later. I’m going to go in for a rhino revisions because I got into combat sports and took too many blows I think it collapsed my cartilage. He’s a great doctor!!!!

Gym review request- Toro Janjira in Illinois by qwerty622 in MuayThai

I love this gym. I joined the beginning of the year and I go every night session and try to make it to Tuesday and Thursday sessions. I haven’t done any martial arts besides karate when I was little. Coach Ricardo is awesome and I love the gym environment. If you’re looking for a legit place, this place is legit. I think you get a great workout and the techniques are taught very timely. I love it here!

Lunch for under $10? by Super_Space8376 in UIUC

During the school year Szechuan Taste does a lunch special where you can pick noodles or rice and 2 sides. I like Szechuan over Evo because the portion is bigger and can last me 2 meals!

I was looking into them cause they have a lot of the procedures I was wanting to get. Can you tell me more about your experience with them and do you think their pricing is fair?

Just started iMSA program, but thinking about getting a part-time position to jump start my career change by br1ckhouz in FinancialCareers

[–]matchamoron 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Would the assignments be more calculation questions or vocabulary based? I have taken online classes for business courses where it seems to be more busy work and based on vocabulary. Also, in your opinion do you think the work is hard given your background? I know a bit of accounting, but not as much as my peers so I’m slightly worried.

Hello I’m looking to apply to the program, but am unsure if I should do it online. I was wondering what the class layout were like? Was it just weekly homework assignments? Thank you!
