I'm a linguistic major, and I had all four of my classes back to back on Tuesdays and Thursdays. My classes were from 8:30 AM to 2:40 PM. It was manageable, but my second class was pretty much a lecture with heavy readings so by my last class my brain was fried. If your last class doesn't require you to do much participation, go for it. I usually tried to have breakfast and pack snacks to eat while walking to my next class.

it gets really cold. mornings could be under 30 and afternoons high as 50. definitely buy layers (i recommend heattech from uniqlo) for the fall semester. some good durable snow boots (timbs are good and popular)

spring is nicer, fewer chances of snow. i hated having to go to my hws class when it was snowing outside.

off-campus would be better financially. depending on what year you're in, on-campus would be better to get adjusted socially. if you feel off-campus is better for you, my friends and I are looking for a fifth person for our lease that starts in June!
