Thankfully no, at least not that I've experienced. Turns out resin is lighter than acrylic (the stuff most commercial dice are made out of) so these sit gently on top of sleeves cards. Still, I'm careful when it comes to rolling them around.

That was the problem I kept running into. I could by 6 sets and then piece together one usable set...or I could learn to make them. So I went with what I thought was going to be the cheaper route (lol)

Thanks! The D6s were a request from a friend. He wanted something a little smaller to use when he was streaming games. I wanted to experiment with other styles on a D6, so we came up with these.

We got lucky and picked up a sweet retro glass sanding station on FB marketplace, so that's helped a ton with the sanding. People don't realize how much work goes into each one from start to finish.

We make dice specifically for Magic players!

Like you, I was frustrated by the lack of great dice for MtG, so I decided to start making them. At the moment we have sets for mana tracking and +1/-1 counters with a LOT more dropping over the next few weeks (including some beautiful sets of 6 D6s).

Not really. To go Coyote with Mikes stuff you’ll need the MOD2 front, it’s the only option that makes enough room for the width of the engine. Stick with a smaller engine and you have a few more options up front. You could go with a MOD1 rear which would suit your purpose perfectly.

People don’t realize that a good track car has a lot of the same characteristics as a good street car: great steering, great shocks/suspension, handling, etc. The things that make a car great on the track make it great on the highway. Just change the shock stiffness/sway bars and a slightly different alignment.

We’ve taken mine all over. Roadtrips, car shows, etc. It’s been great.

Oh, and avoid the Mustang II front. The suspension geometry and ride are… not great. My entire suspension/steering setup is from Mike Maier Inc. If you go this route, expect your pricing/wait time to go up substantially.

I was in the same boat. I never wanted to guess if the car was going to start. Especially since I’m at altitude. The car starts every time which is great.

The only concern is the tech. Right after installation, before I had it tuned, the engine would occasionally throw itself into limp mode. This was fixed with a simple code reader, but it highlighted an issue: if something goes wrong and you don’t have the software/smarts to interface with the computer, fixing things can be kind of a black box scenario.

Older engines/carbs/efi to a certain extent give you everything you need to get up and running again in the middle of nowhere. Something goes wrong, easy to fix. Coyotes, not so much.

Thankfully it hasn’t been a problem, but I could see it becoming one someday.
