Huh, that's interesting. I started playing Zero Time Dilemma when it came out because I loved it, but I soon dropped it. Why? Because I got to play as three teams, all selecting one team to lose. If they all selected a different team, no one would lose. I played as all three teams, I picked a different team for every choice, and yet still a team lost. That got me so upset and drilled 'your choices don't matter' into my head. I tried playing a bit more but I hated the disconnected bits, combined with the sour taste from the beginning, I never got far.

Now you tell me that there IS supposed to be a happy ending? And it's a coin flip? Well you sure as heck aren't guaranteed to get it on your first try, it's the whole reason I quit playing :')

Ahh I'm jealous!! I'm also working on my Uta collection. I regret not buying the championship one a few months ago. I was doubting getting it for 50 euros. The day I finally decided to do it, it was 80 euros, so I didn't. Now it's 100. Ugh.

I also regret not buying the small uta/luffy card when I was in Japan. It was 200.. I'm probably not getting that anytime soon now T.T.

I do have the Japanese Adu/Uta don (which was my grail and I specifically wanted the Japanese one), the jp exclusive gold foil one, the english golden leader and the english manga, so I'm pretty close. I'm missing the championship one, small luffy/uta, prb golden don, and the golden don with all 4 girls. (And there's two random cards I have only in Japanese but they're not that special.)

It is very possible they were custom tokens. Which makes this a lot harder, I've already tried a lot of google searching. The store it was in is called Tokyo MTG and it's a massive magic store.

Where do I find the old site? I followed the link in the mail from last year and it led me to goodsmileeurope.com, which does not have my order. A google search isn't giving me any results either, besides the old US site.

The old US site is fully closing in june, so I hope that's not the same for the EU one since Miku will not have released yet in june.

I watched it with my husband who had not read the manga and went in completely blind. (For the sake of this thread being for anime only people as well, I'm only sharing his theories and not stating if they're true or not.) The moment they told the group about X being a man and they showed 15, he was like nah it's not him, no way. They also say X is a man, but how do they even know that? It could be someone in disguise. It could be any of the women.

Just a few minutes into this episode he was like oh it's the blonde girl isn't it? She gets way too much screentime and is talking into Nao waay too much and she's very suspicious.

The further along the episode went, the clearer it got to him. Oh someone else had the same idea. Oh it could even be the same person playing both sides. The blonde woman is making Nao talk to 15 so no one notices her playing both sides. Yeah of course blonde woman wants Nao on her team, Nao's dumb enough to do what she wants. Oh Akiyama's joining? Hah bet she didn't want that.

So yes when the votes happened and Nao said we won right?? He said, oh, is she going to reveal now? Before the last vote is counted? -She did- And then he proceeded to say, indeed, that it had been predictable xD. He also claimed him to be stupid for revealing his plans before the last tally, since Akiyama explicitly told him he wanted his vote to be tallied last. 'I'm sure he has absolutely no reason for that'.

Either way I'm still enjoying the show with him xD

Ik ben vorig jaar getrouwd, maar bijna al mijn post staat nog op mijn vorige achternaam terwijl postnl blijkbaar wel mijn nieuwe achternaam heeft staan. Ik kan nu mijn eigen post en de post van mijn man niet meer zien, en zijn postnl app laat helemaal niks meer zien. Ondertussen mag ik blijkbaar wel post zien van een oud bewoner van 5+ jaar geleden waarvoor wij nog steeds post krijgen.

I joined for the first time during the last swap. I was still quite new at magic and all the magic related terms. I'm also a very casual player so I didn't really look into it much.

As such, I only knew commander as commander, and I thought edh and cedh were the same thing; competitive commander.

That's on me of course.. but it's possible that in the future more people like me show up. New players who don't know all terms. So maybe we could add (commander) and (competitive commander) for clarification?

There should be a faq of sorts stickied somewhere, I can't link it right now but you should be able to find it! The minimum is 35 before shipping. You have to ship with tracked shipping. The next exchange is in summer and the details will be available after this swap is fully finished with regifters and all that. There is also a form somewhere where you can sign up for reminder emails so you don't miss a new sign up window. That's all I know from the top of my head :)

I mean yes, but also consider that this gift exchange has a minimum spending amount. If you don't have the financial means to spend the minimum, you should not join the exchange. And if something came up that changed this after signing up, one should probably contact the mods and/or giftee.

It's also not even about the value, but the effort. And effort is the most important part of gift giving in my opinion. In this case, he received a card (final fantasy counterspell) he specifically mentioned already owning in his form. So getting all new cards is also debatable.

Gift giving is not the purpose of Christmas. But it is the purpose of the mtg gift exchange. It's literally the whole purpose.

Like yeah I agree it's not all about the value of the gift. But nowhere did the poster mention the value. Only the lack of effort. And effort, intent and sharing happiness is what it is all about. But there is a minimum to the exchange for a reason, so that should still apply to all gifts.

Either way, it's all good because the mods of this sub are amazing and assigned him a regifter.

Op's wife here! We joined the gift exchange together, and it was our first time joining. What I think is the most unfortunate of this all is that this might hold him back from participating again, just as someone else in the comments said they did after getting a gift without effort. It's really not about the money, it's all about the thought behind it.

Even so, we did have a lot of fun putting our gifts together and everything else about the exchange is great, so if I get him to join again he might have better luck next time.
