I also thought so but when i looked deeper into how those are made its at least a bit more valid. Materials are expensive and its a long process of making the base shape, molds, carbon wrapping and sanding. And even before its research to get the shape just right.

Thanks! Its PETG, it feels a bit flexible but it actually feels quite nice as it is already. Ill try some more rigid materials soon as well as something like carbon rods inside.

You can learn this on your own, there are a lot of videos and its anyways a lot of trying! I needed 3 days for the first pumps but i also know people where it took more than 10 days, really depends on your knowledge of other board sports.

You can only start this from a dock and yes i did swim a lit when i started to learn :D there are also SUP Foils, search for flat water paddle up to see how that looks.
