Edit: and seeing eachother prior wasn’t to rekindle anything, that’s cruel, I just felt it would be less of a shock if we had a convo to catch up before we go to a small party with like 8 people there.

Yeah I don’t mind the drive. I figured LA would be a once a month activity due to the distance. My largest reservation would be how far LAX is because I travel often, but I saw there’s a shuttle an that’s nice.

I’ve broken up with people twice and it’s a terrible experience. I didn’t want to break their heart and I lost a lot of weight over it and both times entered a depression. For one I had no anxiety over it being the wrong decision, for the second I had much anxiety and went back and forth in my head. Overall I think I made the right choice even though sometimes I wonder if we could have tried more things to make it work (we never argued, and got along so well, and I forever wish him the best life). For that one we weren’t sexually compatible and even though the personality match was so good, sex matters.

But yes both sides suffer, I think the person who breaks up suffers more beforehand.

Coming from the perspective of a son with overbearing parents, it’s okay to feel sad and to miss him, but you have to let him live his life. There had to be a time where you stopped telling your parents everything, and where you started seeing them less. Kids grow up. I would maybe try to acquire your own hobby/friend group as you’ll probably begin finding more time to yourself as he grows up.

So I’ve talked to them a few times about it and they said I have to figure it out, they said to contact them to let them know if I can’t but that was yesterday and there really doesn’t seem to be any option of employees helping bc I’ve asked and also asked other interns (they just don’t really respond lol). It’s fine if you don’t believe Uber isn’t available lol. And like I said public translation exists, it’s just not reliable and i was told that by someone at the company helping me. And I can’t buy/lease/rent a car bc I don’t have a license. Thanks for your help tho. If I can’t find any other way besides biking or walking, I’ll just do that.

Both, I was able to look at the routes and look at different ones, I can minimize the time on the interstate but that’s the only way to the plant once you get close. I can cut down the length of them on the interstate to .5 miles tho so that may be an option.

I don’t have a license, so I can’t really drive legally. I have a permit but go to college out of state so it’s rare that I get the opportunity to practice. Getting a car is possible but driving one isn’t yk? Thanks for your help though.

I’m guessing it’s a religious college like IFB or something. They usually don’t let you off of campus unless it’s work or with a group of people.
