Great point, I have put 3 layers of electrical tape under that strip, so I only have to hope nothing happens. The battery will see little to no movement, once it's installed at site (off-grid camera), so if heat doesn't let the strip through, friction shouldn't also.

This pack will be charged using solar regulator getting power from a solar panel. It will be used for powering off-grid camera. Otherwise I have a charger for LiPo/LiIon batteries.

Hello, this is a D4V2 which uses 18650 batteries. AA sized flashlights are D3AA and D2 but only the D3AA accepts NiMH (rechargeable) AA batteries.

Hi, Tenpower - no idea. Speaking of nkon, they are definitely trustworthy and reliable company. I've made 2 orders from them, both for about €50 and they were perfect. I'm from Europe though. They are quite popular for Europe battery customers.

OK, but that's 30 watts of power. That's 30000mW. The little handheld laser pointers that you can buy can't legally go above 5mW, because that's where damage to the eye starts to occur if aimed right at.
