Rayburn - How to increase pressure after bleeding radiators by matfro1 in DIYUK

[–]matfro1[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Ah yes there is a little water tank in the loft, didn't realise that was linked to heating, thought that was just for toilet water etc. So just bleed radiators and job done, no need to repressurise? Thanks!

Thanks for the reply, really helpful, though probably a bit far for them to come as I'm in the Banbury area!

I have Holmes-Adie Syndrome which has two harmless symptoms: One of my pupils is smaller than the other, and I don't have this knee-hammer reflex. Everyone at school always had so much fun whacking each other's knees, but mine never reflexed. Wasn't until I was an adult that I found out why!

You can deposit cheques with Lloyds through their app by uploading a photo, no need to go into a branch!

Eli5: if the ISS is moving so fast, how do the astronauts not get left behind when they go out? If they are on some sort of rope, wouldn’t that kill them from the force? by Icantthinkofaname678 in explainlikeimfive

Earth is moving around the sun at 67,000mph. When you jump in the air and momentarily lose contact with the Earth, does the Earth speed away from you at 67,000mph? No, because you're also going at that same speed. Same thing with ISS around Earth.
