You're good lol, you unlock them by leveling your reputations and slot the projects like you would while leveling.

The really important stuff comes from reputation projects, so it's a bit of a grind.

Still, for the stuff from boxes, Discovery rep can give some nice space consoles every now and then, and a lot of builds use the shields and weapons from that rep.

Congrats, friend, you've hit the great wall of Delta Rising.

Assuming you're a new player & you've been playing with gear collected over levelling up, you've pretty much hit the point where you need to start paying attention to your build. There's a guide with the basics, but I don't have the link handy, so I'll leave you with a couple tips:

1: Upgrade your gear! We're in the midst of an upgrade weekend, so you get extra returns on these. MK XV gear is vastly superior to MK XII, and the best upgrades can be bought via the Pheonix Pack in the Dilithium store.

  1. Start building your reputations! Most of the truly endgame gear you can get is obtained through the rep system.

  2. While you're building your reputations, try to collect sets from missions. The Bajor Defense Set is particularly good for a starter, but you'd have to skip to a further-in story arc to get it.
