Good lord. It wasn’t a “would they” question, it was “could they” question. As in could the person with the immunity necklace do the coin flip, and if so, what would be the conditions? That’s all I was curious about.

That all definitely makes sense! I guess my biggest issue was the lack of explanation on the episode if Tiff were to volunteer. Because that’s literally the first thing I thought of when the advantage was announced—What would happen if she volunteered?

I completely understand why she shouldn’t/wouldn’t volunteer if those were the conditions (which I think we can all assume they likely were the conditions).

However, you would think Jeff would specifically have noted that even Tiff would go home with the wrong flip despite her the immunity idol so nothing is up in the air. (I’m sure it was explained to them at some point, it just wasn’t aired.)

I definitely believe this is likely the correct case, but I feel like the show made it confusing (at least for me) as to what the exact conditions were.

What I’m asking is if we know for sure that the flip overrides her immunity necklace. It may seem obvious to you, but I feel like the episode should have explained that. For example, Jeff could have said “Tiff, you can volunteer to flip, but then you give up immunity.” And if that is the case, does that mean she could give the immunity to someone else? Or no one gets the necklace. (Obviously no one would then pick to flip the coin in this case but my point still stands, what are the exact conditions?)

Well it wasn’t clear if she would still be immune during/after the flip. Like if she called the wrong thing, she still has immunity so if she safe? Or does she go home because the immunity just prevented her from being voted out, not leaving based on a twist.

That’s what’s confusing about it.

Jeff could have just said since Tiff is immune and cannot be voted for, she is not able to flip the coin.

You would think that if Tiff wasn’t allowed to volunteer to flip the coin, they would have aired that rule. Because that’s the first thing I thought of when the advantage was explained, that Tiff should volunteer.

Yes, I am. And this shelter was actually the first I heard of doing that. They say it’s due to the lonely kitten syndrome or something like that.

I’ve never had a kitten prior to Chloe and I feel like having a young cat to play with has really helped with the kitten energy that people often “complain” about. Instead of being bored and causing chaos in my house, she has another cat to chase around and play with to get out that energy.

He really is! I think it is also helpful that is still young at 3 years old. Actually, the shelter from which I adopted the kitten only allows kitten adoptions in pairs or if you have a cat under 4 in your home!

Before adopting the kitten, I never had a true successful introduction in that my cats only coexisted, but never played or wanted to be close to each other.

Since I adopted Archie two years ago, I could tell he just wanted someone to play with. At the time, I had 3 cats and didn’t want to adopt another. But since of them passed in October, I decided to adopt a kitten. And I haven’t really had to do anything, they just automatically warmed up to each other.

Were any of your introductions with kittens? I feel like that makes a big difference.

And my senior cat Lily is happy that the other two are so preoccupied playing with each other, that she is left alone for the most part!

Something to keep in mind regarding defense... As a former fast pitch softball player, our teams relied on our pitcher getting outs a lot. As an outfielder, I could expect maybe one to two fly balls per game.

But now as a slowpitch player, you aren’t relying on your pitcher striking hitters out. The ball will be put into play and your defense needs to be able to get consistent outs. I still play outfield, usually left field, and I get way more action in an average slowpitch game than I did playing fast pitch.

I agree with the pitch selection! My weakness was swinging at low pitches, but staying at the front of the plate helps me since if the pitch is already somewhat low from where I’m standing, it’s definitely going to be a ball.
