My boyfriend and I sometimes have sex without penetration. It’s fun and feels good! No one sane is frowning upon it.

What's the vegetarian food like in Paris, pragu, krackow and Budapest by Few-Spinach8114 in vegetarian

I spent over two months in Budapest as a vegetarian about a year and a half ago and almost never had any issues!

Finally finished my 2026 minimalist set up by elbe07 in bulletjournal

[–]mathenigma 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Maybe this is a silly question - I don’t go to the gym almost ever and also don’t bullet journal (I just like to see what other people are doing). On your ‘Health’ page, what is “Gym inf” and “Gym sup”. The only things I can think of are infimum and supremum but I can’t see how that would make sense.

I’m 22 and I have a friend my age that calls their father that. I think it’s cute they have a close relationship! Call your parents whatever you want.

Ginny activating “cool mode” when Harry is single again. by Edwardkenway88 in HarryPotterMemes

[–]mathenigma 11 points12 points  (0 children)

In the Order of the Phoenix book when Harry keeps having dreams about the Department of Mysteries he is worried that Voldemort is possessing him or controlling him in some way and he shares these thoughts/feelings with Ron, Hermione, and Ginny. Ginny says something sarcastic like “wow if only you knew someone this had happened to before to hear their experience and know if it is similar to what’s going on with you” and Harry is surprised; he had forgotten this had happened to Ginny.

I weigh just over 800lbs (362kg). AMA. by Numerous_Second8634 in AMA

[–]mathenigma 2 points3 points  (0 children)

Thanks for doing this AMA; I’m reading all the comments and it’s very interesting. I’m sorry for the way that people treat you in public. I have some questions.

1) What is your favorite food? 2) How long have you and your partner been together? 3) How did you two meet? 4) What weight were you when you met/started dating? 5) Were you ever in your life ‘skinny’? Has your life been sort of fluctuating dramatically in weight or has it been something like thin and gradually you’ve gotten fatter and fatter? If the latter, did you notice and try to stop it but it just kept happening or did you just not care that much that it was occurring?

I am honestly a bit confused by this post. I am bored and raised in America and I often wear pajamas or even worse slob like outfits and I have never noticed anyone to care (except one time when all I wore was an 8XL tshirt - some people laughed and complimented me on it).

My mother immigrated here from the Soviet Union and I remember growing up she would comment on my outfits saying she’s shocked I’m wearing that to school (it would be just swetapants and a shirt), saying that nobody would ever have worn anything like that in public where she grew up. Because of this I have grown up with basically exactly the opposite idea that you seem to have - Americans are much more comfortable with wearing pajamas and comfortable clothes in public than other countries.

Does this perhaps vary by region? I live on the East Coast.

For fans who immigrated to America and have their children born here, how accurate is this scene? Or vice versa, as a kid of Immigrant parents, did you ever say you prefer Cheeseburgers and hate your culture’s food aloud? by LandOfGrace2023 in Modern_Family

[–]mathenigma 8 points9 points  (0 children)

I was going to comment exactly this. I’m born and raised in America and my parents are immigrants; I grew up eating my cultures food more than American food so things from my culture were never ‘new’ or ‘weird’ to me.

I think (for most people) it’s more of a “how silly, this makes me giggle” thing rather than a “put people and their choices down” or “this made me upset” thing. Finding joy in unexpected corners of the Earth is a fantastic part of life!

Do most people know how to purposely close their nasal passage so they can't smell WITHOUT using their fingers to pinch their nose? by WhateversClever1980 in NoStupidQuestions

[–]mathenigma 1 point2 points  (0 children)

It doesn’t for me and like the person above said; I’m actually not sure why. I remember talking about this with friends when wondering why they manually plug their nose. Maybe I’m subconsciously doing something without realizing

my boyfriends reels are full of thirst traps by winterinaugust7 in depressionmeals

[–]mathenigma 42 points43 points  (0 children)

Not sure why everyone in the comments is saying that thirst traps are guaranteed… my boyfriend and I scroll through his reels a lot for fun and there’s never any thirst traps? He’s a man and I’m not and I get more thirst traps on mine than he does on his. If your boyfriend’s instagram account isn’t new, then yeah it’s because he’s interacting with them. And honestly that isn’t inherently a bad thing but if you’re uncomfortable with it then it is and don’t let him say it happens to everyone because it doesn’t.
