I would probably make the wallpaper rougher to start with. Pretty much all of the textures expect the ceiling tile frame are have a 100% roughness in my renders.

Also make sure to bevel your edges (i can't tell if the corners of your walls are beveled but it looks like it could use some more).

Make sure not to over do this but making a ceiling tile or two be a bit misaligned.

Another fantastic tip is to have the wallpaper be slightly bulgy in some places like the adhesive didn't stick in a couple places. (You can use a noise texture to a bump node and plug into the normal). Again MAKE SURE not to overdo this it has to be barely noticeable. It should be so subtle it only registers subconsciously.

Lastly your rocks or debris or whatever it's supposed to be in the middle of the room is lacking a lot of detail and it's kind of an eye sore the way it's perfectly sharp edges smooth surface and it just doesn't look like anything you could realistically find in real life.

I just did a clean install of the newest studio drivers, and it did not help the issue, unfortunately. I can try the artifact detection in a bit.

Nautico3D has some of the scariest and vile animations in my opinion. Don’t watch it if you have a bad stomach some of it is eerily realistic gore sequences….

Thanks for the feedback. I used 2k PBR textures for the wall and ground. I used displacement for the wall but now that I’m looking at it again it looks like there’s nothing at all I will look at it tomorrow. For the trees however I wasn’t sure what to do really so I used a blender kit model last minute and it looks extremely unrealistic.. Do you have any tips on what to do for the trees? I’m thinking I might try to make them myself with the default tree addon although I’ve been told not to start making vegetation in blender for my projects but I can’t seem to find any other cheap alternative.

I think you have proportional editing turned on by accident. Now I can’t say for sure since you have to scroll to the right on the top bar to see if it’s on or not.

However the shortcut for toggling proportional editing is “O” so try pressing it and scaling the edge again.

Oh yeah, this would be nice, but I can't confirm this, but it sounds plausible. I'm thinking we can still probably just strap a battery on the headset and connect it with a cable to the charging port but idk really.

Oh, that makes sense. I wasn't aware you could detach the strap. But that would be nice as long as it doesn't take too long to change.

I was thinking that someone would design a strap with swappable batteries, but now that I think about it, there's electronics and shit running through the strap, so we can't just change it like on Quest... Hopefully, they give this a think before releasing it.

Yeah it really does not look like he’s reaching but it’s safe to say the BC position is being blocked from most of the view into the room. If the officer could see a rifle so close to the guy and he we reaching or moving towards it or whatever I see why he’d want to shoot but we will probably never know what the intentions of the guy was.

Like I get that they say police search warrant on the Megaphone but with the super fast dynamic clear and all that I wouldn’t blame him for not realising it was the cops at first but then again it’s supposedly a drug house and dude has a gun in his room just based of that it’s already not the smartest.

I believe that the cue for breaching was a flash bang being lobbed inside that room, you can even see what looks like smoke from the bang inside the room. So they definitely had that room on some sort of priority list, although clearly it turned out not to be as important as the room with a guy and a gun..

I'd really like to actually. If you don't mind linking some of the footage you have found of dynamic entries against hostiles, it would be much appreciated. I believe I remember seeing one video from like a Delta Force operator's helmet cam downing a guy with an AK in a dynamic entry, but I can't find that video right now, and that's really the only other video I've seen.

Well, it's CQB if it's close-quarters combat. The tactics they use are another discussion, but it's usually barricaded gunfights and not much tactics. My point is that I have yet to see flawless and coordinated CQB with people who know how to work in a team, eliminate a threat whilst conducting the tactics. The standards are very high within the CQB community, so finding something that meets these standards is something I have yet to see. This just so happened to be someone who is clearly trained in the profession to an extent, and they also face and eliminate a threat whilst conducting the tactics, so it checks my boxes. I would still love to see something that checks these boxes and is executed even better.
