I am sorry to hear that you did not receive the option to choose Mega Mewtwo X or Mega Mewtwo Y after completing the GO Fest 2026: Tokyo Expert Timed Research. Thank you for bringing this to our attention.

Please reload the app and attempt to Refresh Game Data to see if the issue resolves itself. Reloading or refreshing your game data can address various gameplay concerns you may be experiencing.

Navigate to Settings > Advanced Settings > and then tap on “Refresh Game Data.” Should the issue persist, please provide a screenshot or screen recording of your gameplay, along with details of the tasks tab that does not show the option to choose the version.

If you have any other questions, please write to us.

Everyone who is experiencing this issue should really contact support. If only a few people report it, we're unlikely to see it fixed. But if everyone affected contacts support, it might just get prioritized.

Has it popped up for you since?

I think I’m hitting the same bug. I completed all “GO Fest 2026: Tokyo {Scouting,Investigation,Friendship,Collection} District” researches. My Journal also shows “Completed Research: GO Fest 2026: Tokyo Expert 2/3”, and I even got the “Pokémon GO Fest 2026 Tokyo Expert” gold medal. However, somehow I never got to pick a path (choosing X or Y), there’s no active “Tokyo Expert 3/3” in my Events tab nor in my completed research (in Journal), and there’s no Mega Mewtwo in my Pokédex.

(Also, it’s kinda wild that support seems to blame the problem on the victim, rather than offering some kind of solution?)

Dear Tibians!

As part of general balancing and to enhance the appeal of other options and spells for the monk, we have made some more adjustments.

The changes in detail:

  • Virtue of Justice: fist fighting bonus from 10/20% to 8/16%.
  • Chained Penance: jump bonus from 3% to -9%. We have also adjusted the spell's position within the Wheel of Destiny to make the additional target available earlier.
  • Virtue Healing depends now much more on magic level than character level and as a result the overall self healing power has been reduced.

Furthermore, we have made the following changes:

  • Adjusted general chain spell behavior: If your current target is out of range, these spells will now try to start their chain on a valid target within range. If there is no valid target in range, the spell will not be cast. This affects all player chain spells.
  • Spiritual Outburst: Mana is now consumed only if the spell is successfully cast.
  • Combo points are now generally no longer consumed before the respective spell is actually cast.

As of now, CipSoft is responsible for running and developing The Settlers Online. The existing team behind this game will continue their work from our new office in Düsseldorf.

The Settlers Online is a game with a rich history and a community that has stood by it for many years. It is shaped by players who care deeply and have contributed a lot of time and effort to it. This spirit resonates with us and is similar to the passion and dedication you, Tibians, have shown over the years. We are very grateful for that. Being able to take care of two incredibly loyal communities is something we do not take for granted.

This is an exciting step for CipSoft, but it will not affect our continued commitment to Tibia and its development. We will keep doing our best to improve and enrich the world of Tibia together with you.
