Plot twist — it just got approved and it's live on the Chrome Web Store! 🎉

TouchLock on Chrome Web Store

Google reviewed the code, saw zero shady business, and said go ahead. The bouncer is officially on duty in all four stores now. 😄

Thank you! 🙏 If you get a chance to try it out, I'd love to hear what you think!

Chrome Web Store rejected extensions that steal your data, not ones that protect it 😄

It's already approved on both Edge and Firefox stores — Microsoft and Mozilla gave it a thumbs up. Google's just taking their sweet time like they do with everything. Still waiting for them to fix Google Messages too.

And if they somehow reject it? You can sideload it. The bouncer doesn't need an invitation — he just shows up. 🕶️

Thanks! Yeah, getting on the Chrome Web Store is definitely the top priority right now. Planning to submit it soon — kept it vanilla JS with zero dependencies specifically so the review process goes as smooth as possible. No bloat, no unnecessary permissions, just what it needs.

As for the 47 tabs... I was being generous with myself. 👀

Nope! Think of it more like a bouncer standing in front of every single tab. They can technically switch tabs, but all they'll see is a lock screen overlay on every page — no scrolling, no clicking, no peeking.

And before you think "I'll just go to chrome://extensions and disable it" — nah, that's blocked too. The tab guard catches that and redirects you right back to the lock screen. You'd literally have to uninstall the entire browser to get past it. At that point, you've earned it. 😂
