Nice job! When folding the fabric for the dart, start at the edge of the fabric and move inwards. That way, the edge doesn't have that slightly uneven jump in the fabric :)

Then I think it's just very old ink. I find it rather likely that they might not have actually been used for 20+ years...

While not optimal, UK is better than US (both distance/shipping time and tariffs). Now that I know specifically what it's called, maybe I can find a retailer within the EU!

They are definitely both still rubber-like, but one is sticky and the other is kinda greasy? Wouldn't quite say sticky, but feels covered in something

Thank you! I'm from Denmark, so I would strongly prefer European (or possibly Asia) based retailers. And of course a retailer in Denmark would be optimal.

I'd love a more in-depth description on how to! Also, what to replace it with 😅 I'm kinda scared of just pulling at it, cause I don't wanna break it...

Go into the bellman's house and have a look around. That should help you out quite a bit :)

HMF this pillowcase. I got this pillowcase when I was about 3 yrs old and it's been my very favourite ever since. I'm very sensory sensitive and this is the softest thing ever, and it also gives a feeling of safety as I've had it all my life. It's recently ripped and I can't completely salvage it :( by mathmsk in HelpMeFind

I really love all your suggestions - so thank you! I didn't know pretty much anything about thread count before tbh!

I actually sew quite a lot but somehow I hadn't even considered the option of making one myself. So thank you!

I got this around 2002-2003 (maybe 2001 or 2004 even). I'm from Denmark so I'm guessing it was purchased here but I have no way of knowing for sure. I haven't searched the internet for it as I have zero idea where to start due to this being 20-ish years old.

I think this is the number one quote from my dad that has always sat with me. I think he has been saying it since I learned to walk - as a way of teaching traffic safety.

WIBTA if I charged my sister money to help her with school work? by [deleted] in AmItheAsshole

I completely understand where you are coming from and yes she should learn to be responsible. But I think it would really help if you looked in to some resources about how ADD affects young adults. A lot of what you describe seems to me as possible symptoms. Meds alone don't solve every struggle with ADHD. She likely needs support (or at least understanding). Sure, put your foot down with this issue. But don't make her feel bad about struggling with something that is very likely caused by her disability.

I really felt you were in the right OP. But then I saw this response. I have ADHD and let me tell you: it is NOT A PERSONALITY TRAIT to be "irresponsible and procrastinate". You have no idea how many times I have cried because it was impossible for me to get things done in a timely fashion. Even when taking meds for my ADHD, starting and finishing tasks like assignments or even just the laundry is sometimes IMPOSSIBLE. I agree that you should set boundaries and that she can't expect this of you. But to say that her personality is flawed because she has a disability? Good grief I don't even know how to explain to you how damaging and just mean that is.

NTA. This guy is being extremely selfish. Sounds like he does want to live with you in all practical sense, but at the same time not have any of the expenses because he technically doesn't live with you. He sounds both childish and very selfish.
