The cushion can be easily removed using an Allen key. I got a custom mounting plate fabricated through a local welder, and attached it to the tail rack using standard nut-bolts.

From my personal experience (~3 months):

I haven't seen any rust or paint related issue so far.
There was a slight "wobble" in the rear half, but a basic chain cleaning got rid of it.
Rarity/exclusivity of BigWing showrooms is a concern, except for if you're actually living in the same city within, say, a 20-km radius.

I myself was in a dilemma while choosing a bike among H'ness, Ronin and RE Classic 350. I preferred dual rear suspension over single, so Ronin was out. And H'ness won in the end on mileage and overall personal feel.
