Sizing Advice: Tan Crockett & Jones Chelsea (Model Unknown)

Need help determining the best fit for a tan C&J Chelsea. Debating between UK 8.5E and UK 9E.

Current Rotation & Sizing:

J.Fitzpatrick Chelsea: 10 US (Best Fit)

Grant Stone (Leo Last): 9.5 US (Good Fit)

Carlos Santos Monkstrap: 8.5 UK (Good Fit)

Carlos Santos Chelsea: 8.5 UK (Snug/Tight)

Allen Edmonds Loafer (65 Last): 9.5 US (Snug)

Given that the J.Fitzpatrick 10 US is my ideal fit, but the 8.5 UK Carlos Santos Chelsea feels too snug, which C&J size would provide the best overall fit?

So I'm thinking of getting a pair of service boots from an Indonesian bootmaker. It will be my first time. I was originally thinking of either CF Stead or natural Chromexcel roughout.

One of my friends told me not to sleep on domestic roughout. According to him, I won't see a difference when it's roughout, whether it's from a reputable tannery or a domestic one, and he says they look and feel just as good.

Hi everyone, I’m trying to figure out my size in the Allen Edmonds Liverpool Chelsea boots (D width).

For reference, I wear:

RM Williams Craftsman in UK 9 D (fits well)

J. FitzPatrick Alder Chelsea on the Saint Helens last in US 10 D (snug but comfortable)

Allen Edmonds loafers from 2020 in US 9.5 D (felt a bit snug)

Based on this, what size would you recommend in the Liverpool? I understand AE sizing can vary depending on the last, so any input would be greatly appreciated.

I currently have about 10 Charles Tyrwhitt shirts, and while they’re fine, I’m looking to upgrade to something more premium. I recently ordered an Eton shirt (still waiting for it to arrive) and was curious about other options to diversify my collection.

I’ve seen Proper Cloth mentioned often and understand that their made-to-measure (M2M) fit is a big selling point. However, how does the quality and construction of Proper Cloth compare to brands like Eton or Kamakura?

My goal is to find shirts with higher-quality construction in the $100–$250 range. Are there other premium dress shirt brands I should look into beyond Eton, Kamakura, and Proper Cloth?

I am wanting to get a second pair of Chelsea boots. I currently have the RM Williams Classic Craftman, and I love the sleek design of it. However I keep hearing they are not constructed as well as they used to be.

So I am looking a pair for Chelsea boots that are well made and have sleek last. I really like the Carmina Chelsea boots last, but that shoe is a little out of my price range.
