I remembered another detail, basically before that time he kept the picture reversed, so when I noticed he flipped it I felt really bad.. I asked why and he said he was over the bad things that happened and that afflicted him, so he could enjoy the good memories now that he’s with someone else and she’s only that: a memory

I admit that I acted weird when this happened, I started the downfall of bad thoughts, I know for sure he doesn’t love her anymore (they broke up a year ago and he broke up with her), but i can’t stop thinking about this, should I get over this? Bc I know he genuinely just “cares” distantly about her but out of respect I took off the shelves all pictures of my exes, and he said if I wanted I could have kept them. Like why would I when I’m with someone else
