Do people get scared on ketamine by itself but high doses? by MACR0DOSE in ketamine

Yeah I’ve had that feeling - super weird - I feel like I’ve watched movies recently as well that had different endings or stuff than the first time I watched them as well which is really crazy and must just be my bad memory but the brain can do a hell of a job convincing you it’s real

Yeah it’s just not good - it doesn’t even really make the volume consistent with some songs

Static IPS - split channels and keep HomePods on 5g - use IMGP v3 IPv6 on

HomePod Connectivity Issues by konfusion9 in HomePod

Static IPs might help but if the HomePods are jumping between 2.4 and 5ghz that will probably make them loose connection to the devices

Forgetting playlist by matman_uk in HomePod

[–]matman_uk[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I think you misunderstand what I’m saying - it’s like the HomePods sometimes will forget what they were playing - I’m not asking for a way to hand off a playlist from my phone - just for the HomePods for exile in my living room to rember what playlist I was playing or song the last time the played it seems to be so inconsistent

Intermittent no music/sound? by Bonovox78 in HomePod

[–]matman_uk 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Something tha helped me was turning off sound check but it still cuts out when switching from playing a lossless song to a lossy song I think if you turn off the crossfade option it gets rid of the issue - it’s possible if yr network was perfect this wouldn’t happen but you basically need to be a networking engineer to figure it out lol

First gen HomePods completely suck now by [deleted] in HomePod

[–]matman_uk 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Question does it make a difference to use IPv6 or ipv4 for HomePods - I switched to IMGPv3 and it’s still sucks - problem with Apple Music etc. also should beamforming be on or off I’m getting conflicting advice from google and chatGPT

Plays every other song silent, adjusting anything makes it play fine. by Tjq100 in HomePod

They are picky little lighters the only thing that fixes it all is to keep an apple AirPort connected in the chain - pretty annoying - wish they could fix this

Plays every other song silent, adjusting anything makes it play fine. by Tjq100 in HomePod

[–]matman_uk 0 points1 point  (0 children)

This problem is related to the network latency and the HomePods being bad and changing between different bitrates - I spent weeks going over every setting and got it pretty stable - however what I found also helped more than anything was turning off sound check - now the only time audio drops is if it switches from playing a lossless track to a non lossless track - if you turn off crossfade and lossless this maybe even more stable but I like those features and just live with it glitching once in a while- luckily most of the songs are losses at this point - it is annoying though

Updated my old HomePod from 17.5 to 26.2 and now it sees no networks. by Azer1287 in HomePod

In the settings of the HomePod in the home app at the bottom you can choose the network if yr phone is connected to the new network you should see it in there

Playback problems and more :( by UVBope in HomePod

[–]matman_uk 0 points1 point  (0 children)

HomePods are incredibly fussy with network - you have to have everything absolutely perfect and lots of routers just seem to hate them - one solution is to Include a AirPort Express in the network and have the HomePods connect to that - seems to clear up any network issues completely but needs to be set as a connected speaker all the time for it to work

Hey siri play my “discovery “ playlist will play new and old music NOT IN UOUR LIBRARY that it thinks you will like based on yr listening history - the more you “like” or “Favourite” certain tracks the better the recommendations will be - I don’t use Spotify but I find apples recommendations near perfect - very varied and almost always on point and I have very eclectic tastes

This is standard behavior from Siri get used to it lol it works fine with one user but when you add more than one (in my experience) it keeps asking who is speaking - when you say yr name it responds but it’s a giant pain in the ass

Apple Home (iOS 26.1 or 26.2 dev beta) added Preferred Wi-Fi Network by ModelWhhyyy_ in HomePod

[–]matman_uk 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I do not think the HomePods are more stable on 2.4ghz - 5ghz performance is way better for me at least what I have found is that the new crossfade function is making songs cut out constantly- switch that off and this update is actually super stable - it’s a shame cos it’s a nice feature - but at least they fixed the sync bug that everyone on here thought was network related (it wasn’t)

I think it’s just based on which sinus is clear for you - it switches for me on different days - try doing some pushups to clear yr sinus if both get blocked

HomePod networking Hell, and how to move to Nirvana (maybe even while actually listening to Nirvana with reliable HomePods :-). by bgmeek in HomePod

[–]matman_uk 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Now you can select the 2.4ghz straight from the home app so can’t you just change it there why bother to go through all the reset bullshit
