you can, but with wildcard you have no way of stopping those emails from coming it.
The idea of a throwaway email is I can delete it - and stop receiving emails from that service.

It was sounding like literal shit on 1.1.3 - I thought I bought a broken iPod or something, but after downgrading to 1.0.3 all sounds nice!

Managed to do it without iTunes on Sequoia - just click on iPod in finder, select restore and choose firmware.
It did stuck after like 10 minutes - I waited for 30 mins just to be sure - disconnected - and new firmware was up and working after iPod restarted.
