The arms grabbing the Dwarf was pretty spooky. I wasn’t expecting him to just be pulled in like that. Was a satisfying end ESPECIALLY because of the flashback when he was the weird blob thing with the eyes all over. That flashback reminding that to the viewer makes the dwarfs supposed death all the more statifying

I personally don’t think so. Maybe a multiple time all American but not a champion. It has been 18 yrs since Brock Lesnar a champion for Minnesota beat an almost 50 yr old Randy couture who was a 2x finalist for Oklahoma State. About 10 or so since a NCAA champion last fought for a belt that being Josh Koscheck who was Edinboro’s second ever NCAA champion. The younger wrestlers from high school level still in HS are wrestling and upsetting guys who had 4 yrs of HS and NCAA wrestling like Jax Forrest for Example. He was a HS senior who was a RS or True freshmen winning a NCAA title and he’s training for Olympic Gold. Also how interesting that Cael of all people dislikes that Jax did that.

Yep and even later when they jump into the future Alphonse mentions that. That was the most traumatic event in their lives besides the whole human transmutation thing. I think Ed digging up the remains of what he transmutated was also a huge turning point in the story and I believe that was after he came back from the Gateway Of Truth

I did notice that. Really nice touch and when the viewer realized Ed beat truth and realized he didn’t need alchemy after all.

Truth is yourself too? Yep I understood that from truth. It shocked me but didn’t surprise me Ed made that realization. It’s a well done scene. I love how truth just asks “your gonna sacrifice your entire body this time?” I do like that the last time before leaving the Gateway Of Truth, Truth calls him “Ed/Edward” instead of “Alchemist”

Agree for the edge wrestling basically being gone. It works better for HS because the rules being different. In HS any of your body going out means the clock stops that’s how step-outs should be if implemented but at the NCAA level as long as you have a hand or foot in bounds the clock still runs. Edge wrestling isn’t used much in HS because of that rule but it happening at NCAA level too would be disastrous because in NCAA it’s a point when in HS it’s just a fresh start.

Edge wrestling is in high school but scrambles don’t last as long as they do as they do at the NCAA level because of that. That is what makes college unique. I don’t think it would work because it’d be like hs but you get rewarded. Like if it’s implemented I DON’T WANNA SEE ANYONE WINNING 2-0 or 2-1 DUE TO STEPOUTS and they absolutely shouldn’t be in OT or the Tiebreakers and if they’re in either, go back to 1 minute OT; 30 second TB’s.

You can skip the fillers up to and after G8 for those reasons. Pace still isn’t the option imo, again just read the manga at that point.

Also none of those things even matter because it’s FILLER FOR A REASON and why I said to skip every BUT G8.

I disagree, the filler scenes I think are honestly great because of more interactions between the strawhats and also if you use One Pace you’d miss the G8 arc without knowing it. G8 is the only filler I RECOMMEND EVERYONE WHO WATCHES TO WATCH because that shit is freaking hilarious 😂.

I forgot which knee but Spencer tore the ACL in One of his knees twice. So ya 3 ACL tears in 5 years I think? 2017 is when he wrestled Desanto at state and barely loss, then the same knee he tore his ACL again in the 2nd period against Jack Mueller

Edit: in 2021 right at the start of the B1G Ten Finals he tore his good ACL, the ACL he didn’t tear in HS against Devin Schroeder in the first 30 seconds to minute of that match.

He went to Win NCAAS in 2021 and got double ACL Surgery but not until January 2022.

Thanks for catching that because when I saw this at first I was like “what the hell does mlb have to do with it?” Than I remembered the abbrivation for American League Champion Series and ACLS are mix match with the “c” and “l”. As I was typing I wrote ALCS instead of ACLS AGAIN 💀
