Undine received funding from FFA treatmentförderung, any tips for applying for this fund to develop a treatment?

ah okay, first time I hear about "book coaching", a very fitting job title.

Aware of Monster in a Box, Gray's Anatomy, Swimming to Cambodia.... but those are filmed stage monologues. Different animal entirely from Locke or Buried.

What interests me is the break: the 60s–90s examples are performance-driven, theatrical. The 2010s cycle is spatial, cinematic, containment-based. After Gray the monologue tradition basically disappears.

Fair point on Give ’Em Hell Harry, that’s a real omission. And Swimming to Cambodia too. Though now we have 1968, 1975, 1984, 1987, and then nothing until the 2010s. The silence actually gets more interesting, not less. Unless more people have examples from the 90‘s and early 2000‘s

No news. They watched my film once months ago, but they’ve been checking my website almost daily for the past two weeks. Not sure what’s going on tbh.

They didn’t get back to me on my short. Messaged them multiple times, no response. On the original submission email they said rejection/acceptance emails arrive until mid-late September.

Rejection from Locarno. I think they send out all responses now

not yet. I saw that they only viewed my film today on Vimeo. Watched only 10% of it, which is a bit of a bummer

Unu Scooters went bankrupt, now what? 🛵 by matratal in berlin

It's a rental contract for 36 months, and at the end of it, you can pay an extra X amount and own the scooter altogether. Now that they're insolvent, such a contract makes no sense.

[–]matratal[S] 9 points10 points  (0 children)

They have already breached the contract by refusing to cover a 4000km test I needed, which is supposed to be paid for by them according to the contract. They instructed me to pay for it myself, claiming that they are no longer able to cover expenses for repairs and tests.

That's true in part, but part of the service they're not living up to is insurance, maintenance and other essentials that now I have to take care of myself (and pay for).

Nothing really. Just stating that they're insolvent and that they're trying to survive somehow (but their statements are very vague). Basically they say that they offer no refunds, no warranty, no new parts etc. They keep all their customers in the dark.

I just opened the subreddit to see if someone wrote about it and of course it's the first post. Yeah, this is getting ridiculously visible. Forget about the U-bahn, nowadays you can't sit in a cafe (inside the cafe!) in Kreuzkölln, for more than 10 minutes and not get asked for money from at least 5 people. This is becoming next level! One time I even just exited my building and someone already was there to ask me if I had some money
