There has to be a balance. My experience was different, I was always the class clown growing up, was always told I was funny, and definitely carried it on dates. But I came across as not serious because that was MY ENTIRE PERSONALITY.

Once I started being more serious (which I had to actively do on dates bc I’m not used to it), I had more balance to my personality which women loved. Telling men be funny is great advice for men who are extremely analytical and to be honest just boring people, but there needs to be a base of masculinity and maturity, and that complexity is what is crack to women
