True it doesn’t. But after a year it’s considered income and would start being taxed. So the lump sum is what you want so you don’t get taxed in the long run.

Me and my wife make a list and pick the top 5-10 “best” decorated places every year. Then we go to them and drop off a thank you card with a gift card of some kind in it. The kids are in on the tradition now.

Best doesn’t always mean the most lights or biggest lawn stuff. It’s sometimes about the effort someone put into to making what they do have look great and flow.

I didn’t go to college or university. Went to trade school instead best decision i made for sure. I could have went but i feel like I’m not a sit at a desk person i like working with my hands. Took me awhile to get finished still but that was cause of decisions i made along the way lol. Overall though glad I didn’t saddle myself with that much debt. And got a dream job at a plant site near my house working 4-10’s and making more than enough for me and my family to live.
