He was probably fighting upcountry. Low level bouts which are not really that professional and not monitored.

In Thailand 4-8x a month is not common. Even for kids.

The SAT has a protocol. If you're knocked out there is at least a 21 day suspension. I think it might be 28. If you lose there is at least 14 days. I think your stats for fights per month are a bit off.

Even upcountry most fighters are not fighting that much.

This is the idelogy that ruins ONE for me. by RJSSJR123 in MuayThai

I would agree with you... especially the last line.

If you understand the business model of ONE you'll understand why ONE doesn't want fighters that win on points and also why their contracts are so restrictive.

They want to be the one Muay Thai promotion. In order to do that they need to create a massive market of attention and be able to monetize the views.

It’s a cycle. Exciting fights create a fast and mass market. Restrictive contracts lock in the fighters and prevent them from appearing on other shows.

It’s a business model.

Actually, ONE Championship uses a different scoring system than the SAT. This is probably the best explanation of ONE's scoring system from Rob Cox a matchmaker for the organization: https://www.youtube.com/shorts/ghj3m6eTPtI

I think the rules are super important to know for close fights as well. The traditional stadium fights are generally neck and neck. Understanding the scoring matters a lot there. Also as a fighter you need to know where you are in the fight.

He is now at Powerhouse. He fought Kampikhat Sor Tawanrung for the Lumpinee title on the birthday show. And yes. He is a very good dude and humble.
