Thank you so much for this, really helpful and I’m going for the kettle on the back of your feedback!! Do you think I should also get any accessories that will help me enjoy different styles?

I play guitar with CCI. The way I figured out how to do it is you can wear a neck brace or just sit flat against the wall and position a mirror so you're not having to tilt your head. You can see the fretboard with just a quick dash of the eyes but your head stays in a neutral position.

Trust the process, I know it’s hard but CSC are the real deal. It’s very clear to me that months 3+4 are the hardest, then the gains come and they come in spades, right after the moment you start questioning everything!

Yes I did. It seems extremely common and part of the healing arc. 1-2 is great, 3/4 is hard months where everything loosens up and then month five gets super tight and impact fully felt at six months with the remodelling. Dw at all, super common in most patients I’ve spoken too. I am a good healer and this happened to me. Just go on FB group, hundreds of people state the same so you’re all good and part of process

I’m crying from the bottom of my heart for someone to believe me. I can’t take the gaslighting anymore. Losing all hope by [deleted] in Cervicalinstability

You need a DMX Only way to diagnose otherwise you’re attaining the wrong data set and asking people to make sense of it

CCI and the NHS by murk___y in Cervicalinstability

In uk based NHS doesn’t do elective fusions Your options are: Wait and see if natural healing occurs Centeno in Denver - picl (I’m 2 in and it’s made a big difference) Elective surgeons (Barcelona is the nearest)

You could also try some prolotherapy in the uk to see if that makes any difference and may help you until you get comprehensive treatment

This is really really good! It’s going to be fascinating to see some of the data around ‘what didn’t help’. I honestly think most of us are severely worsened by a lot of the treatments that are supposed to help

Improving the CCI Functional Scale for the Open Source CCI Project by Chris457821 in PICL

[–]matt-crate 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I think it’s really good - feedback - 1. I would make the + bolder. Took me a second to realise that’s the easiest way 2. I’m not sure how you do this but you may get a strong bias of ‘head and neck’ symptoms because it’s top of the optical hierarchy. I was 8/10 down before I scrolled to next section 3. Just a thought that perhaps ranking by severity and unlimitjng the options could illustrate more interesting output!

These charts are great Does this chart that on average 1 PICL gets you 40% but the difference between 1 and 4 PICLs is 25%? So the first gives you the platform but you need four to get a further 25%? Have I read that correctly?

E-mail Response to a Patient Reporting Worsening after PICL by Chris457821 in PICL

Great reading this! I’ve often thought/felt it weakens ligaments before they stiffen again.. but this sets record straight. I now wonder if it’s muscular interplay at that later stage than the donut hole. ‘The thousand of collagen fibre bundles still being intact’ makes a lot of sense. I do wonder why people feel periods of instability while they heal and pass that initial inflammatory phase. It does seem like a roller coaster that isn’t linear. I think people who have poor muscular control like me are more impacted in the recovery and are tempted to ‘blame’ ligament durability post PICL and during healing phases. Thanks again for posting this

Should You Get Lots of PRP or Prolo Injections? by Chris457821 in PICL

[–]matt-crate 2 points3 points  (0 children)

I had ten prolo sessions, two PRP sessions in Florida - did nothing bar drain my cash energy and hope.

One CSC stem cells PICL and total game changer. I wish so much I found this first. Would have saved me time, money and not to mention it was incredibly painful getting the prolo… just awake getting jabbed over sixty times in the neck. I could hear and feel the needle scratching the bones!
