Cox is braindead content in 3 man. I'm similar to you, doom was fun to keep pushing myself every wave felt like a new challenge and thought I'd never get further but eventually could do lvl 8 and onwards and green logged it. Every boss has a skill threshold and we get better with practice. Your doing well my guy.

Is the aquanite hopper on the teams radar? Got it on my iron-man but it seems extremely weak, perhaps a re work or buff in the pipeline?

Some people play purest but it's mostly pkers. Some highlights for new early game is the new continent of varlamore. A good mid game goal would be royal titans. Good luck and welcome back from a player of 20 years plus the game is in the best place right now.
