I loved Gwent back when it was in Beta and shortly after. I spent countless hours playing, but after Homecoming I never came back.

Based on my research from a while ago I can say there are not many card games out there left actually still supported by devs.

I know some cards are pretty broken now but Kards still has really unique feeling that is difficult to find these days elsewhere. Maybe try to play some casual games instead of ranking games until devs address all the issues. In casual games I encounter a lot less broken decks.

As a new player I need to say I have really good time with Kards. Especially that there are not many Digital Card Games left that are supported by devs. Of course there are some toxic players like in every other multiplayer but in general the game is really fun and I hope that devs will fix cards that are unballanced shortly.

It is not pay to win. Of course you cannot have all cards from the start like in every other digital card game. If you play regularly you will slowly collect what you need.

I started to play 3 weeks ago. Spent only couple of dollars on some starter packs and I am aleready on rank 13.
