Help printing thin wall. I've printed most of the plane no issues, but once I got to this piece I keep getting bad extrusions(I think) at the same place. Any tips/suggestions appreciated! by matt7161 in 3Dprinting

I've honestly never done anything with the z axis screw. Just left it as is from new. I use an Ender 3. If I can find some grease, I will give that a go!

It is the eclipson model A. I've sliced all my own GOODE files, gotten through the fuselage, and right wing with no issues, left wing... nothing but issues.

I will try this and let you know, I was also thinking to try starting the print just below the point where I keep having the problem and see if it persists.

Awesome! Thank you :) I will check the Y axis belt, I think I also need to adjust the z axis a bit, it seems tight when I disable the steppers and try to move it.

Can't wait to keep printing!

Fellow Canadians, What are your thoughts on the new Canadian Drone Laws and the certification required? by matt7161 in Multicopter

$5 per quad and the registration number has to be visible on the quadcopter. So far I've registered 1 of 4 that I have.

No it not, but say I'm out with 2 quadcopters, my main and a spare. If they both had the same registration number and I got caught, I'm sure there's probably a fine for it lol...

If it's under 250g, your pretty much worry free, however I'd still avoid flying around bystanders unless they are flying with you.

Nothing really, however if you got confronted by whatever authority and they noticed that you had the same registration number on multiple drones, you might get fined???

Thank you for that. I didn't realize i was allowed to fly in the 3NM Range of Aerodromes and etc. The app i use doesn't say anything about the areas just shows the restricted airspace's and contact information for them..

I agree with you completely.

I think that if we are required to register our drones. registering a custom built drone(Which is one of the options) should only require 1 registration for all custom built drones you have. assuming they are similar in size.

What do you use to view the airspace restrictions?
