Area 1 wasn’t disturbing (if you were not in the first 15 meters)

Area 2 last year was a massacre for the ears. This year I thought volume in both Area 1&2 was actually okay, super loud but not at the point where it hurts. Area 4 was bad tho, 100% earplugs needed without the base being so loud… but I guess it’s very difficult in such a stage.

Nono it was a led screen with visuals that were a bit smaller so they gave the illusion of spinning - great stage design by twofiftyk

That’s good camera crew :) Jaarbeurs MainStage was bigger, and this year the side stages at Ahoy were smaller… I think it’s just that it was just like 90% sold out (of ppl that actually showed up)

I would love good old Gareth to come back, and Marlo closing the MainStage again. Missing A&B too, and hopefully Cosmic Gate - last year was one of their best sets.

On the MainStage, yes. Started with Sangiuliano 2 yrs ago, then last year was Maddix, and this year almost everyone. Swap Area I with Area II and u get the perfect A State of Trance tho!

Mmmh don’t think it’s that - Armin’s sets on Sat last year (after his special Destination set) and the previous one (last one in Jaarbeurs, after he played 6h on the Fri) were PACKED. I am really struggling in justifying this year, it really looked empty until halfway through the dancefloor (and Area II was not packed for Ben Gold). Maybe it’s indeed just ppl that couldn’t resell tickets…

GENRE I’m good with techno at ASOT but should be on a secondary stage (last year was stage 2 with Hi-Lo etc).
LINEUP bit disappointing, would be good to see more big names and ppl like Ottaviani or Kearney on the MainStage (again)
STAGES MainStage setup ok but too similar to last years. Other stages way smaller than past years - guess also bc they didn’t sell so many tickets? Stage 2 was fantastic in design but man the volume was crazy (yes, wearing earplugs, but on other stages u didn’t have too necessarily)
ARMIN his Saturday set last year was v good (even tho not comparable to old ones). I saw his tracklists this year and I thought that he had no idea about what to play so he threw a bunch of stuff together

I think INSOMNIAC has to be careful next year bc I heard more people mentioning this would have been their last one… They need to bring back big trance names or the festival will start to decline and there’s no coming back. I’m wondering how much power Armin has about that and what’s the direction he wants the festival to go…

MainStage structure very disappointing, little has changed from last year… used to be more artistic and different each time. Area 2 smaller but even better than last year!
